"Woah, now, hold up, everybody. Now let's all just slooow down, before we end up doing something real nasty. Just... stop what you're doing, and relax. You're gonna wanna hear what I have to say next, alright?" Sazh said. Whitney attempted to look the situation from the standpoint of someone who had just arrived and wasn’t too happy. The water was the vastest attack there and her Bibarel was clearly the cause of it. It looked like she had started the commotion even though she had just tried to protect everyone. Her protecting skills would really gain something from training though. Whitney felt like starting to cry. It was so clear to her that everyone would blame her about something she hadn’t done. She hastily took Delcatty and Bibarel back to their Pokéballs and called Miltank closer to her and said: “Go ahead and tell.” “Well maybe, just maybe, I was a little careless, she admitted to herself. “But nothing else and you’re supposed to react fast when you’re under an attack! Whitney realised that the boy who feared cat had vanished and instead there was a girl who looked like a female version of him. She had no clue whether the boy had just changed his gender or if they were two different people. Nothing seemed impossible anymore. Or then the girl had been a girl all around and the water had washed away her illusion or disguise. Whitney had no clue. The only thing she was sure about was that he or she didn’t look like an aqua mouse. Whitney was also pretty sure that when Azurill evolved into Marill, it had a chance to change from a girl to a boy, not the other way around though. Whitney just shrugged to the fact that Kaguya and the fire girl couldn’t die. There were obliviously Pokémon who couldn’t die and Whitney had also heard about a person who had lived over 3000 years in Kalos. She was a bit jealous to them but forgot it in an instant when the alchemist boy approached him and started to talk her. Whitney had thought about trying to make a good impression. Instead, she found herself explaining how what she had done wasn’t that impressive at all. “Um, sorry. I usually only battle one-to-one so I completely forgot about my surroundings. Well, they’re actually my Pokémon who battle, I just train them, give them commands and use healing items when the rules allow it. I can’t do anything myself like you can use sword. And um, yeah, I’ll stay on my guard. I had somehow completely forgotten about it.” Whitney realised that she hadn’t even told the boy that she admired his swordsmanship and she couldn’t open her mouth to say that again. She also realised that she had made a completely fool or herself when she had admitted that she had forgotten not to trust in others. Whitney was about to facepalm but then realised that it would look pretty odd if she didn’t explain what she facepalmed for. She instantly changed her hands course of movement to look like she was trying to fan herself. Then she realised that the air was pretty cold and was about to facepalm again because of her stupidity, only to realise that facepalming without a reason would look as odd as before. This time she started to adjust her hair and, for her luck, she didn’t came to think that it might look like she was trying to look good for the boy.
