That Bleach RP I was in before was like that too. Pretty free and limitless (with standard RP rules applying, normally) - and I have to say it worked pretty well and I enjoyed writing up battles more than in a number-based system. But the reason I am bringing the possibility up is because I do want to hear what other people like.

And because most of the recent RP's I was in were using a number-based system, sooo I kinda forgot the joy of an endless battle possibilities. :( 

It'd actually be nice to revisit that and it seems that people actually do like that more. That's always good.

I am myself more fond of playing the Gotei 13 as well. Old school, for the win.

Just, me being picky too, I never was able to get as immersed in the plot while canon characters were present. But I believe that is the least of our concerns, as we can easily opt out for an all fresh cast.
