Name: "My name is Arahkioleros." Age: "I... I cannot recall... There has always been so much to do and the ages were not counted as meticulously when I breathed air and ate food." Species: "I'm not a True Lich, you see. Though I had intended to become one. I was killed before I even had a chance to begin the ceremony. Fortunately, my knowledge of necromancy allowed me to preseve and eventually re-inhabit my own corpse." Personality: Wise and grandfatherly towards other undead. Cold and uncaring toward the living. Remaining (un)alive for so long has changed his personality vastly over the centuries. History: "Ugh! Where to begin... Well... It started so long ago in some sort of human civilization with rites and languages that you would hardly recognise in today' world. I recall cleary that I raised corpses and phantoms and received visions of the underworld. And that I was paid generously by ...my king? Or was he an emperor? I can't be certain of his title, but I do recall that I was paid for turning the dead on ay battlefield into shocktroops to cut down our land's enemies. Anyway, I was eventually slain by one of the foriegners who didn't take kindly to my country's acceptance of necromantic practices. "When I first crossed into the netherworld, I was scarcely prepared for the monstrosities that awaited me. Even the afterlife was far different then, monstrous spectres and strange black holes into endless abysses awaited around every corner. But nevertheless I was able to find and cast spells to preserve my corpse. But my time as a ghost was very certainly longer than my lifespan several times over, iremember my frustration over that very fact. It took a long series of failures and experimentation before I was finally able to reinhabit by body. "The oceans had swallowed everything I had ever known by the time I was able to once more walk among the living in my own corpse. I swam for what felt like forever with horrible aquatic lifeforms attacking me the entire way. One even managed to swallow me. I remember how that angered me and how I destroyed it's internal organs before tearing my way out through it's flesh. "Once upon land, my recollections are far less clear. People... Corpses... Wraiths... Dramatic conflicts... I know that I studied more of the dark science wherever I went. And I know that there were breakthroughs. So I must have been experimenting quite rigorously in those days... or centuries... "I recall that I came to despise the living. With a horrible hatred. They destroyed a Ghost who came to be special to me. I remember inventing a plague to unleash my vengeance upon them. And I remember reuniting with Galas after an immensely long time apart. Far too long. And I recall the joy I took in creating devices for his benifit and amusement. "That lasted... How long did that last? Oh, well. However long it lasted, I eventually heard from the Landlord that he was starting this venture and I immediately accepted his offer. He's a good fellow. I've always liked him." Pets: Galas; A strange many eyed spectre with animal level intelligence, whose kind haunted the underworld (and ocassionally haunted the physical realm as well) in prodigious numbers when Arahkioleros died.
"He is not any type of Ghost nor Sluagh, and whatever name his kind once possessed it has vanished, just as they have, from the underworld altogether."
Room number: 2J Room Descriiption: As dark and cold as any crypt with stone walls, stone floors a stone ceiling and no windows. The walls are lined with bookshelves and various paintings and sculptures depicting various aspects of death and mythological takes on the undead. Statues of Kali, Hades, Anubis, Hel and Ereshkigal mingled with old european paintings depicting vampires, appiritions, ghouls and various gruesome takes on the afterlife. Most of the rooms include well crafted wooden furniture. His "living room" includes a fine couch before a solid slab of white-flecked black marble which serves as a coffee table, a few extraordinarily comfortable armchairs, and standing on a stone column opposite the sofa are the skeletal remains of a smashed tv set. He also has a "work room" full of various tools of the necromantic trades, a bedroom whose stone walls were lined with red velvet curtains and containing a very large four poster bed which itself is curtained with black lace with spiderweb patterns, closets full of archaic clothing, and a uniquely modern white-tiled bathroom. Years in the Apartments: 5 Any other stuff: Arahkioleros is a necromantic artificer. He specializes in the creation of necromantic inventions and artifacts.
