Within the game Kingdoms of the Sky, players will soon realize a massive distinction between the two main areas of the game. The massive, dominating kingdoms that glide across the sky and contend for control. Floating well above the clouds they drift along with massive flying barges distributing goods all around. A new feature never before seen in a video game is the player-driven economy, foreign relations, trade, political agendas and more are all based around players. Each Kingdom is home to massive NPC populations which fill many roles, city guards, commoners, artisans and even political figures. These Kingdoms are also often home to the Player created guilds, which through many functions help the Kingdom function by acting as a branch of its military, controlling the foreign relations with other Kingdoms and their guilds. The most powerful guild in a Kingdom is considerably influential, given the ability to alter laws and policies within their Kingdom. That said, a Kingdom is only as strong as the guilds that it is comprised of. Below the clouds the world is not so simply political and safe. Down there the planet is a massive labyrinth which covers every square inch of the surface and buries itself deep inside her bowels. These massive snaking corridors and mountainous walls that block out the sun create a megalithic structure simply known as 'The Womb of Thea'. Every villager will inform you the Womb is filled with evil creatures of all shapes and sizes, built for the sole purpose of destroying a player in the most horrific fashion. They are held by ungodly beasts who refer to themselves as 'Bosses', wielding power beyond the limitations of a single man. But this information only raises more questions, who leads the bosses, what is inside the great structure and what purpose could it possibly serve? The Womb of Thea is no place for the weak.

Cloudhaven - A starting town for most players, a basic and rather stereotypical medieval town filled with heavy knights who roam the streets acting as guards and long bowman in watchtowers whom are ever vigilant. They boast the strongest military power but lack the size and variation of other Kingdoms, Cloudhaven is dominated by the fortress of Bluegate in which King Edward lives. Underneath the castle, an expansive low level dungeon exists where players are welcome to farm the goblins, rats and other evils that manage to get in. Rumor has it King Edward hides a secret weapon far in the depths of the dungeon. Skyrest - Skyrest, the city of the proud and free fears little in this world as they rule the skies with their powerful naval fleets. Their military is small in terms of population but carries the most advanced equipment and holds the most ships. Riflemen are posted throughout the town's walls to prevent anyone from landing within their Kingdom due to their constant warring status. Skyrest is known for its constant feud with Sivengard. Skyrest is lead by the beautiful and elegant Lady Mirn. Nirdonea - Nirdonea is known as the city of twilight, a mysterious Kingdom which utilizes the forestry that exists on its surface to form a massive almost impenetrable dome around the main section of the city, notably Elder Doreck's Castle. The city uses a wide majority to build the ranks of its highly noble military, which is mainly supported by Doreck's wizard court who hold the secrets to the strongest defensive magic known in the game. They constantly create barrier spells they spread across the land, even sharing them occasionally to other kingdoms. Elder Doreck leads through brotherhood and kindness, easily the most honorable leader. Wyrran - The city of the icy wind, Wyrran is filled with snow almost constantly. A town known for its powerful yet secretive military, who focus on assassination and espionage to eliminate competitors. Lacking in actual power Wyrran makes up with their highly skilled warriors who utilize guerrilla warfare. Their navy is nowhere near the biggest, or strongest but most feared due to the massive amount of pirates that belong to it. Lord Jaren rules Wyrran with a firm hand, aiming to teach via discipline. Sivengard - The darkest of the five kingdoms, this town by far holds the most diversity. Sivengard stands as the most misunderstood of the five Kingdoms. They allow rogues, dark mages and blood knights to fill their military, believing those who crave blood will seek it the most on the battlefield. Mercy and honor are four letter words to those within Sivengard, which is unsurprisingly a home to most PVP-focused guilds. All of Sivengard despise the arrogant and pompous Kingdom of Skyrest, but none more so than their leader Baron Vice.

Kavil - A small kingdom of druids who hold no military and instead build their kingdom around the charity of the five larger Kingdoms. The druids here answer the call from any Kingdom to provide healers during times of war. Because of their kindness to each of the Kingdoms, they avoid conflict from all. Lead by Chief Grey. Blackstead - A kingdom filled with the scum that were too low to join Sivengard. Blackstead is hated by all Kingdoms and as such has no trading routes, making everyone who lives here poor. The city streets are covered in filth and a constant sickness engulfs this entire island. The town shows no present leader warlords and groups of bandits constantly battle over it. More may be discovered as the game progresses.
--- The Guide to 'Leveling' Up. Within Kingdom of the Skies Online, a player will have no indication on any form of what we know as 'stats', rather everyone starts at a neutral point. At the start of your game, every action you take will reflect upon your character. The game's highly advanced AI nicknamed "Gaia" will be constantly micro-managing everyone's ratios. Players will experience a highly natural growth rate of skill that reflects upon experience. As you progress deeper in the game, your jobs and classes will open up and allow you more skillsets, items, gear, etc. Upon beginning the game, the player will answer a short series of questions that will end with them receiving a specialized set of equipment tailor-made for their personality and style. To advance in the game and evolve your character, one must show actual attempt to progress including participating in guild skirmishes, boss raids and party quests. In order to progress to the next tier in your class what is known as a "Progressive Feat" is required, which includes but is not limited to: completing an epic quest, defeating a legendary monster or reaching a milestone in power forcing you to advance. Upon this "level up" a player's avatar is open to change, some may simply acquire a new specific item (ie new tome for mages.) while others could acquire an entirely new look displaying their clearly more advanced capabilities. General Guidelines & Expectations [*]Characters are expected to be limited in their own right by the person who made them, none of us wants someone who solves every situation.[/*] [*]Moderate length posts are what we're aiming for, something around 2-5 paragraphs per post, please no one liners or any other silly things.[/*] [*]A Mature level of writing, there will be blood, slight gore, cussing and intense themes. Sexual natures are forbidden and if you want to do that, I suggest going somewhere else.[/*] [*]Your word is just as important as anyone's, speak up if you think someone's character is too powerful or you disagree with a way something should go, but in the end majority rules and I will decide any possible tie-breakers and handle disputes.[/*] [*]Keep the arguing out of here and things down to a discussion, no insulting or hostility, lets all be friends and do this for fun. If you begin causing problems you will be asked to leave.[/*] [*]All other Roleplay rules are expected, please lets make this enjoyable![/*] ANY QUESTIONS/DISCREPANCIES/CONCERNS PLEASE PM ME PRIVATELY. --- WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING.
Character Name: (For the Character names, simply use a realistic name or make something up an example is maybe Kurt Ironwood or Otis Birchback but please nothing ridiculous such as 'N00bdude23' or 'BobbyJoe1'.) Real Name: (This and age will be the only real world information we will know about you, appearance, history, etc are probably never going to come into play aside from your character deciding to talk about it.) Real Age: Appearance: (Your in game avatar. A written description is required.) Class: (This can be updated along with your skills as you progress through the game. The artificial AI will identify your characters play style, strengths, and weaknesses allowing it to adapt your class to almost anything. Please include your Class Title and a short explanation of how your Class is played include both strengths and weaknesses. Your character has probably existed only just long enough for the system to place them outside of basic archetypes.) Job(s): (This includes the careers your character potentially can adopt in order to make money or utilize it in any number of ways. The less Jobs a person has the stronger their focus on their jobs can be. For now, there will be a limit to three jobs eg blacksmith, carpenter, scribe, demonologist, etc.) Skill List: (Start off with three weak basic active skills and one passive. This will most likely be updated a lot.) Equipment List: (For now only low level items, ie leather armor, metal shield, short sword, oak wand, etc. This will also later include mounts/pets you might acquire.)
