Elena continued to run, despite the fact she was given an ultimatum. "never!" she yelled as she saw the car driving at her, guns now shooting at the weird mechanical beast. At the first explosion, she fell, landing on her stomach and covered her head with her arms. "help!" she yelled, the artifact was already in her pocket from when she was running. 

She turned her head a bit to see the beast still coming at her but a little bit slower from the bullets. She jumped back up and ran to the humvee, waving her arms for them to stop and turn around. "It's not safe!" she yelled.
