It is the future, lets say the year 3XXX. Most of the world is gone. The only continent that houses humans is Asia. Asia itself has been split in to towns. With one capitol. That capitol has issued a deal with every town. Every six months, they have to vote up one person to go into The Yami Dungeons. The Yami Dungeons (TYD) is a game that the government created. It takes roughly a year to complete and most people are at level 100 when they finish. TYD is a VRMMOG that contains 50 dungeons. People are free to party up and try to beat the game. Once a person kills the final boss they are allowed to leave the game and they receive money, however if a town gets ALL of its participants out of TYD before new ones arrive the entire town receives money. Players also wear armor that is in accordance to their town. TYD has been up for six years.

The game doesn't have normal characters/players. There are several factors to ones character that are unique to the game. They are;
-The Mass Kill System
[hider=The Mass Kill System] Once a person mass kills a mob, they gain two things. One, they gain features related to the mass killed mob. They also may gain a nickname relating to the mob. This system helps to differentiate players who grind mobs from others.[/hider]
-The Aura System
[hider=The Aura System] In accompaniment to the normal stats there are aura stats. These stats add attributes to your aura, which may help you in combat. The game gives an ability called Sight to random players. This ability allows them to see auras.[/hider]
-The Ranks
[hider=The Ranks] This a list that any and all players can pull up. iI is a list of the best players currently in the game. It also has another option that can show the most famous players in the game.[/hider]
-Stat Bursts
[hider=Stat Bursts] Stat bursts are burst of pure stat that one can use when they have gotten a stat to a certain level. Each stat does something slightly different. Ex. Strength does a burst of energy that is close range but can destroy a lot[/hider]
