Target nodded to Airachnid as he approached the console. What he saw on the screen made him groan quietly to himself. The autobots had finally sent troopers after the fall of the jamming tower. Although small in number, about 15 which included the autos that emerged from their pods, they had already outnumbered his remaining troops. What also made him feel worrisome was that more decepticon units had arrived only to be pushed back by the autos. This most-likely meant someone higher up the decepticon hierarchy didn't trust him with completing the mission, but there was a small possibility Megatron decided to give him access to some more troops. Whatever the reason, the mission was lost and it was now no reason to fight for more than pride. He felt the ship shift under his feet and turned to Airachnid for an explination, which she gave to him without even looking at him. "This ship is headed towards an insecticon hive that I discovered some time ago. I plan to use a group of them to distract the bots if a diversion becomes necessary." There was a slight pause as she adjusted something on the command console, "You're free to abandon ship if you have a better plan." Insecticons? Target never met any face-to-face before but has seen them in action. He quickly realised that this changed things, that his mission wasn’t a complete failure. The insecticons would boost the decepticon forces substantially, making the losses at this fight acceptable. He quickly scanned the console in front of him and formulated a plan to distract the autobots. He called it genius, while others might call it something less glorifying. His plan, however, hinged on whether or not this ship could leave this heavily controlled enemy territory. Target addressed Airachnid, “What are the chances that you can get this ship back into orbit or out of enemy territory, after you received the insecticons? At least far enough that more decepticon reinforcements could come and support any needed repair efforts.” He tried to hide the anxiousness in his voice. If she couldn’t get it out of the area, he may need to think of another strategy before the autobots sent units to secure the now moving vessel.
