Tech levels are sort of all over the place.

Be moderate with the amount of ships you have to start. I'd say keep it closer 100 ships. (Personal opinion)

Uuuh as for do an not do I shalt say this
Do: have fun and remember to roleplay. 
Do not: break rules, piss off keyguy, Godmode, or be a generally unsavory sod.
