Why do you get into wars if the concept of defeat is unacceptable to you? Seems to me like, if you aren't ready to lose a war, you probably shouldn't join one.

You were given a lot of chances to end the war with treaties that had (at least according to Nexerus) almost no negative effect on you. That might even still be the case now. But because you're not having your way, you're quitting? Come on, man. It's just a game.
