For the next minute or so, the half-elf stood still, meditating on things and staring up at the palace in conjunction with Canti. Now more than ever the palace was a tomb in waiting to house the dead, and a threat on everyone's lives lingered overhead with some killer on the loose, a killer that might soon discover those hot on his trail.
