And here be Nex's vassals. Last is Bikriki's. Role calls are going out tonight, y'all. [hider=Vassals of House Osgar] [img=http://i.imgur.com/O5Ph2qi.png] [ The crest of House Gallad; a knight in plate armour, with a red-plumed helmet, bestride a white horse wearing gold barding, over a field of gray. It is meant to symbolize the family's beginning as mercenaries. Their motto is 'We Fight For Ours.' ] Lord Damien Gallad is the lord of Newmarch, Fort Frolic, Faircastle, and Woodmarch. He is age 25, tall of height and average of weight, tanned of complexion, sandy-brown of hair, and light brown of eye. He was married to the daughter of a knight, who bore him a daughter [ Mary, age 5 ], but she passed away from an illness, and he is now seeking a new wife. He was born a low orphan, and thus doesn't know his siblings, if he had any. House Gallad is a very new House, having been granted its land in the east not 5 years ago by Overlord Balthazar, to a mercenary company who had been defending the area against Giants. This was not a suprising move, since the mercenaries had all but held the area for themselves, and had developed it from an unpopulated march, to a civilized land. Balthazar had merely ensured their continued loyalty for no additonal payment. However, not 3 years ago did its head, Lord Giric, die during a hunting accident. The man had no children, but he did have an adoptive son, a man named Damien, who two decades earlier, Giric had rescued from a burning building. Damien thus inherited the land at Lord Giric's death, making House Gallad as old as its only legitimate heir. Upon Giric's death, Lord Balthazar bestowed House Osgar the vassalage of House Gallad. This was not based on the House's close proximity to Aaldoreanfeald, but moreso to Balthazar knowing that Damien would not likely take kindly to his new liege, thus creating tension between both Houses. But Balthazar was wrong; Lord Damien has turned out to be an incredibly loyal vassal, to the point of open mockery by the Bernaccians and Wyots. Though he is indeed a reckless, selfish, and thuggish man, his admiration to Grindan Osgar and his House seems to be genuine, though it's not certain where such feelings come from. It is meant to symbolize its founders two adored pet hounds. Their motto is 'Merciless.' ] Lord Ryan Wyot is the lord of The Bastion, Northpost, Southpost, Bloodrocks, Craghills, Dropcliffs, and The Taiga. He is age 43, average of height, heavy weight, light of complexion, balding of blond hair, and blue of eye. He is married to Lady Lona, age 36, born a servant at Bolgaz. He has one son [ Tunor, age 20 ], and one daughter [ Eva, age 16 ]. He has one brother [ Gordon, age 41 ], who lost his wife a decade ago, and who left him only one son. Like the Gallads, the Wyots were granted their land by Overlord Balthazar, to protect the east against Giants. This was ten years ago, but since then, the situation has calmed. He used to drill himself and his men constantly, but numerous victories have made him overconfident, and sloppy, as he grows fat and happy in his keep, content to live out the later years of life in comfort, alongside his loving wife and old hounds, who he trusts more than any of his servants. As Ryan was always more of martial man, he leaves the administration of his lands to his brother, Gordon, as he did when they were but mercenaries. Gordon doesn't bare any ill will to his older brother: he believes they work best together, balancing each other's sanguine and phlegmatic personalities. Gordon occasionally comes off as a browbeaten bookeeper, but is by no means a coward, or uncharming, and indeed is quite an accomplished diplomat. Ryan's son, Tunor, is much like the lord in his youth: bold and brash, but lazy and feckless, interested in little but beer, brawling, and breasts. Ryan is quite proud of the boy, despite him being unskilled in tourneys and rulership. Gordon doesn't see this as a problem either, and hopes to groom his own son to take the place of House administrator. The Wyots are quite the happy family. Or they would be, were not for Eva. Since Eva was very young, she had a violent temper. She screamed constantly, destroyed furnishing and decoration, and ran about with limitless energy. When she was just six years old, she took a fascination with weaponry and combat. At first, it seemed like she would be an excellent tourney-runner, but whenever she trained, she wailed and laughed at the rules and codes of honour of such formal combat, always doing whatever it took to gain the upperhand. She trained her fitness and combat prowess five days of the week, using her weekends to challenege anyone with the stones to fight her. Many grown veterans had to be forced to fight her, some dying in the process. Age did not temper her rage, and even into adolescence, the slightest irritations caused her to rampage. Two seasons ago, Eva ran away from The Bastion, taking fifty men-at-arms with her. Tales and reports of a girl who killed and robbed without mercy spread across the eastern countryside of Lundland. There is currently a bounty on her head, posted by the late Marshal Uthred, for 3,000 bullis, but her father is willing to pay double that for her safe return. She starting to earn the nickname 'Eva the Bitch,' both for her temper, and her house's crest. Those within earshot of her prefer 'Eva the Blade.' Lord Ryan has often been called 'Osgar's lapdog,' but in reality, he is more concerned with his own comfort first, and protecting against the Giant's second. It is meant to symbolize the house's authority and unerring sense of justice. Their motto is 'To Ours What is Due.' ] Lord Aethelfirth Bernaccia is the lord of Bernaccia, Vanalaigh, Daldenard, Stamburst, and Twilland. He is 63 years of age, tall of height and average of weight, light of skin, silver of hair and green of eye. He is married to Lady Cymberch, age 50, born to House Eadwyne, a house whose lands were conquered during the War of Unifcation by House Bernaccia. He has three daughters [ Aelfgyfu, age 34, Cyndrica, age 32, and Aelfwip, age 15 ]. His two younger brothers, and one younger sister, are all dead. House Bernaccia was the one House that sided with House Osgar during the War of Unification in Aaldoreanfeald. Though their decision seemed senseless at the time, it proved to be a wise move: House Bernaccia now stands as the sole-surviving independent lord in Aaldoreanfeald, save for their masters, House Osgar. Lord Aethelfirth has always been a man focused on owning more land, and creating an ever stronger legacy for his proud house. His past has been long, full of conquests and cruelties, but no matter how much he does now, his time left on earth is short. And so, he is in the kind of frantic rush that comes upon old men concerned with what they shall leave behind. He long since married his eldest daughter, who he proclaimed his heir, to a son of the wealthy Sennev banking family. As they have already born a son, who is now in his sixteenth year, Aethelfirth is content that at least his House will eventually come under the rule of a proper-born man. Cyndrica he has married to the son of a wealthy merchant from the Ordained Kingdom, but for his daughter Aelfwip he can ill find a suitor, for though she is comely, she has been cursed all her life by mad spells, where she would spend days at a time muttering to herself in her room, and collapsing in choking fits in times of stress, or even when simply meeting new people. As a vassal, Aethelfirth has paid his due diligence, but places his duties far below that of his own concerns. He proven an able commander of men, and cunning intriguer, but his cruelty and risk-taking has left his peasents and land abused, and having his House owe a great deal of money to the very family he gave his eldest daughter to.
