Serenity fell straight to the ground in agony as the bullets hit her. At that moment she felt pretty useless, like she had let her home and its people down. Why couldn't she have powers to help her fight back? Her mouth didn't make a single sound from the pain. She simply lied there on the ground, taking it in. Her back was bloody, once more, and it seemed like the pain would never end. She shut her eyes and tried to be brave. Despite the bullets, she refused to lose consciousness. She knew leaving was futile and now she would wait. Either for her friends or this group Jack worked for. Hopefully her friends could make it in time, she didn't doubt it though. They were the Teen Titans after all. If some how this strange company showed up before them, Serenity had a plan formulating in her mind.
