I dreamed I was in the Harry Potter world last night. I had superpowers too, but was a crap wizard (took six or seven "stupifies" to knock someone out with my bulky seven-inch wand, and that's after a half-dozen "expeliarmis"es.) I remember that we were looking for a special "black thorn" wand for me that was rumored to be so easy to use a muggle to cast spells with it. Also, someone used "wingardium leviosa" on me (after I jumped ten feet in the air to dodge a "Avada kadavra" bolt) and I said "you really think that will work on me? I've got super powers." Then I flew over to him and layed him out with a left hook.

Really weird dream.

edit: Now that I think about it, I had to force Ki into the wand in order to use it, which makes me wonder if my brain assumed that they used Ki to do magic, or if the ability to do magic was a side effect of my super powers.

For that matter, do the books ever say what kind of energy the spells use?
