Amused, of course, at her discomfort. She furrowed her brow, taking another sip of tea more for hiding her indignant expression then out of thirst. She remained completely silent, that is, until he flashed her. She wasn't drinking this time, but her face lit up instead--she cursed her wandering eyes and forced herself to drink again. People truly had no shame, did they? Still, out of the corner of her eye Emiri watched Jaakuna rip the note to shreds. What was that all about? Before she could ask, however, he excused himself to go to the bathroom. She didn't have much time--dare she try to look? It upset him, or at the very least bothered him enough to enlist such a reaction. Still, time was ticking--literally--and so she quickly picked at the pieces, trying to make some sense of the hastily written words. She squinted at them, frequently looking at the bathroom door, lest she get caught. Unfortunately, the way it was ripped made it nearly impossible to tell what the note originally said, though two words made it out: 'sleeping powder' At this point, Emiri froze, her entire body in shock. Her eyes darted to the door, and with a haste quicker then one under a spell, scattered the bits to how they were. Sleeping powder? For what? Oh no, had she had some slipped into her drink already? Into her food, perhaps? She bit her lip, tapping one of her knees as she tried to think why Jaakuna would order such a thing. No, she was the one that ordered the meal, but what if he had done so beforehand? For his employer? That is, unless he was interested in something else. But what other benefit would drugging her do? The answer hit her like a sack of bricks, her mind jumping to the absolute worst conclusion. The bathroom door open, and Emiri openly squealed in surprise, her breath rather short as if she had gotten caught red handed doing something she shouldn't have. She grabbed her tea, nearly spilling it in the process, then remembered the sleeping powder, and this time she practically threw it back onto the tray. Oh no, her body was feeling tired. Was she too late? Would he have his way with her? Slightly hyperventilating, Emiri looked up at him with watery purple eyes. "Y-You c-can't..." She cried, a hand to her lips as she tried not to actually cry. "I've never...I-I haven't even...that is...I-I-I'm still..." She stuttered tremendously, it was actually comical. But she inhaled deeply, trying to compose herself, and whispered, "H-How c-could you...I...I've never e-even b-been with a man th-that way..." She sniffled, eyes still watery, and she grasped the arm of the couch desperately, feeling her limbs start to get numb.
