Choi was not entirely sure whether he was supposed to be concerned about this alien, not knowing whether he was tired or definitely not feeling well. He looked different and still had those piercing things, but they looked like they had receded back into his arms and probably weren’t a threat. This guy sure was dropping dust like snow as they moved him and that was definitely the absolute worst part of carrying this guy, looking to Yumi when she sneezed. Smiling a little, he nodded and wiped his nose, “Alright! The showers…that’s not too far”, he spoke, nodding to himself as he decided on the route to get there, “If there was one place I’d like to wake up in after being unconscious, it’s the showers and surrounded by people…possibly naked. I haven’t decided yet”. Thinking about it, he quickly looked back to Yumi when she asked him about Kai, giving a little nod in return, “Oh, sure! I mean…it’ll be easy enough. Just keep walking”, he spoke, trying to get a hold of Kai. It was pretty simple to, but Choi soon flinched after a moment and smiled nervously at Yumi, “And…that could have gone better too…” Kai was going to smack Takeshi after this, especially when he knew how he felt about the kid. This whole chasing thing just reminded him of the problem they had with the kid when he changed and tried to kill them all. He wasn’t going to give the kid the ball though, he wasn’t going to give up just because he didn’t agree with this, but it sure was making him feel worried, “This isn’t damn logical!” He really had to get this kid off his tail before he decided to grab hold of it and reel him in for the ball. Jumping passed the machines and running around the corner and jumping to the side to avoid the leaping kid, he quickly ran off again before something distracted him completely and unfortunately for him he instead ended up tripping right into a machine and falling over it, landing on his back where he was quickly leaped on by the kid. Letting out a pained groan as Shu immediately grabbed the ball and bounced off him, he rubbed his chest before his hand moved to his head, “Ughhh…damnit Choi!” he groaned, slowly sitting up, “Choi just…’called’ me saying he found your bug friend and wants me to help him. Don’t suppose you wanna go too or am I just going by myself…” Viral couldn’t help but feel absolutely inadequate in a group like this where everyone was treated like a super-powered being and anything he could do was just a laugh. Just because he couldn’t fly or throw energy around like an idiot didn’t mean he should be laughed at for having destructive abilities himself. His pride had been insulted and he had been hurt, so having a lot of training time should help him get stronger and allow him to compete properly with everyone else. As it stood, Vegeta wasn’t in agreement with his ideals and was quick to protest against it because of his ‘health’ or whatever. He used to be one of the strongest in the group and now he was arguably the weakest, all of these distractions he had to undertake not helping his progress in the slightest. Growling lowly, he followed after Vegeta reluctantly, “Hmph, have you never heard of fasting? I don’t ‘need’ anything! The only thing I need food for are those damn pills!” he protested, already finding it annoying that his primal instincts were the problem when it came to food, “I don’t have a choice”. He didn’t see any other way around it; he was either going to lag behind even more by taking breaks all the time and experimenting or he was going to be a mere pet to everyone else. He needed a break from the race and catch up without worrying about them all gaining in strength, but that was never going to happen, “You forget how long I lasted without food until you intervened. How else am I supposed to be useful without having to act like an animal to do it??”
