Mithias listened carefully as the girl began speaking. She informed him that his, and Tsukune's, power was soul-based, which Mithias had not known previously. The vampire's cool, perturbed expression melted into surprise to hear her say Tsukune's name. Mithias blinked, pausing a moment. "Lord of vampires?" Had his very-dead benefator ever mentioned that detail? "So, you've been my lord all along, eh Tsukune? Very well." Mithias said this mostly to himself, then nodded in agreement. As the room changed, Mithias completely lost track of what the red-headed woman had been saying. The room was the exact same as inside the white stone where he had encountered Aono. He looked at it, then looked again, verifying its memory. The only differences were the other "children" there with him, and that Tsukune was missing. This woman's hired accomplice certainly had prepared her, and Mithias was shocked, and growing uneasy. Footsteps sounded, and the children's faces melted horribly. Unstoppable fear came on like a rush of adrenalin. Mithias crouched down, instinctively cowering. "What... What is this?!" He looked toward the door, terrified the knob would start turning. "Who's there? Don't... don't destroy me."
