After examining the genie for a moment, Charles jogged at a steady pace to catch up to the rest of the crew when he heard a tiny growl behind a trash can he ran past. He knew that whatever it was couldn't be very big because of the noise it had made but Charles couldn't afford to be to careful so he held his gun up at the ready as he slid the trash can to the side with his foot. Out popped a small almost wolf looking creature that couldn't have been any larger than his own hand. Charles pulled out a piece of beef jerky from his bag and tossed it on the ground watching as the runt's expression changed and it began waging its tail happily at the treat. He quickly bent down and picked the puppy up, tossing it in his bag in as comfortable a way as he could for the moment. Within the span of 30 seconds with the help of some beef jerky Charles may have found a friend for life, but now there where, much more important things to worry about.
