Dark Matter looked over to the voice that called out to him. It was Aria, flying in from the skies. "Ug, not you..." He mumbled. But than he had an idea. Her barriers were able to stop Dark Matter's attacks, so maybe she'd be able to handle that crazed gunman. For once, maybe he could convince her to fight alongside Dark Matter. He just needed to make up an excuse. "Okay, okay, think Dominick.... We know that guy took a Teen Titan. Yeah, let's go with that. I'm here to save her. I don't think that Aria cares about that, but she'd at least see me as the lesser evil at the moment, right? Save the Teen Titan, deal with me later. Yeah, that sounds like a plan." And than Aria walked into the warehouse, the same one where those landmines were. "Shit. Be careful! I'm trying to save someone in there, but this guy... He's got a lot of hardware. Explosives, guns, and who knows what else. Stuff I've never seen or dealt with before. I don't care what you think of me, but right now we need to work together regardless. I want to save that Titan, we can debate morality over some pizza!" Dark Matter than began to produce a couple of Tear Gas Bombs like before, arming them and throwing them into the hole to fill the entire warehouse. But he also had another thing he wanted to make; some sort of flammable gas, to burn the place out. He didn't know off the top of his head how he was going to make that, aside from maybe pumping methane into the Warehouse. And even than that was only because he had a vague idea that methane might be flammable, and he was no scientist. "Find the Titan, she's a girl, likely hurt! Make sure she's safe! And keep your senses sharp for that gunman and your shields up, he was able to take the girl from the Teen Titan's, so he's pretty damn skilled! Tell me whatever you see and I'll do my best to help." Dark Matter wasn't one to stick his neck out for others, but sometimes you have to jump before you fly. Before he'd act though, he needed to know if Aria was willing to work with him. Otherwise this is just going to be three-way fight until the Titan's show up. Dark Matter was entirely unaware of the Shadow Complex's ship, though he at least had the good sense of staying on the move, minimizing his physical profile, and hiding, in the event that the gunman was now after him. Dark Matter imagined so since he just blew a hole into his roof, but who knows.
