Nadeline furrowed her brow, watching the Marquis. What in the world had prompted him to call the soldiers at this time of night? For some reason, she immediately looked to the brunette, raising an eyebrow, though something out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. Emiri was also watching, though her thoughts were elsewhere. Did this have anything to do with the General chasing Jaakuna? Maybe she shouldn't have been so quick to leave him. In a second, Nadeline brandished her rapier, pointing it at their unexpected guest. Emiri whipped around, blinking in surprise to see Jaakuna himself standing behind the pair. Speak of the devil and he shall appear before you. Emiri thought, guiltily avoiding eye contact with him. She quickly grabbed Nadeline's wrist, shaking her head. Nadeline looked from Emiri to Jaakuna, though she did stare at Jaakuna for quite a bit. "You...have we met?" Nadeline was sure she had recognized him from somewhere. Why couldn't she match a name to his face? She definitely knew him from somewhere, she hardly ever forgot people. His name was on the tip of her tongue, too. Emiri missed her statement, quickly hissing, "For someone who dislikes violence you sure are quick to draw your blade. Stay your sword, there is no need for it, Naddie." Nadeline pointed said weapon at Emiri. "Who is this, Lia?" Had she no restraint, Emiri would have punched Nadeline in that smug face of hers. Luckily for the pair, while she was rough around the edges, she retained her impulse, instead glaring at her. Nadeline smirked somewhat, lowering her rapier. She caught on rather quickly that this Jaakuna didn't know of Emiri's real identity. She wondered what she did call herself, however. "Jaakuna." Emiri spoke, finally looking at him. "What are you doing here?"
