"Stand down, Rogers. We will get other soldier to go and get the woman--" "With all due respect sir, you and I both know that that won't stop me from going in there." A short pause. "You sure are a tough soldier to tame, Rogers." "Thank you, Sir." "Just make sure the woman, and the case is secure. And bring them back here." "Understood." As soon as Steve fell off his bike he chased after the van. He was beyond determined to find the people who kidnaped Sharon. He had a call from Fury shortly after watching the van drive in a warehouse. He didn't plan on sitting on the sidelines as his neighbor and closest thing he had of a friend... whose a girl.. was taken by some thugs. As soon as he was done with his small talk with Fury, Steve made his way to the warehouse, making sure he was stealthy as he could. The warehouse was cut off by a large gate, but Steve wasn't afraid of it. He easily climbed over it, landing behind large cargo crates. he peered around the corner to see what exactly he was up against. Five men patrolling the front, all having a station, and zone... alternating. Piece of cake. This was someone Steve was made for... literally. He took in a deep breath, took off his shield, and in a fluid motion rolled off the edge of the crate, and threw his shield. It made direct contact with a man's chest. He flew backwards and in to the dock. Steve was already running when the shield flew back in to his hand. He leapt up and hit another man in the head, falling unconscious. He turned to see two men aiming rifles at him, and the other rushing in to the warehouse, probably to tell the rest of the men... great. He started to run towards more cargo crates as he heard the door open, and shouts. He ducked behind the crates as bullets hit them, and around his head. he really wished he brought a gun. He leapt out of cover, crouching behind his shield as he advanced closer to the lines. He didn't want to go through the middle, or they would easily surround him. He needed to pick a side, and let them come to him. The more he dealt with these guys, the more Sharon was in trouble! Behind cover yet again, He glanced at where the men were, and then threw his shield. It ricocheted off a crate, and hit a man. During the confusion Steve made his way out of cover again, diving for his shield, going in a roll, and holding it in front of his crouched body as the bullets went flying at him again. He charged, shield out, and swiped away the gun with the shield, then head butted him. He kicked the guy back. he went soaring and hit another gunman. Before any of them could get up, Steve ran for the entrance to the warehouse. He dragged a large box in front of the entrance to keep everyone out. He didn't need guests in here while he was searching for Sharon. As he walked through the aisles of cargo of the warehouse, he came to the center where a chair was. The dust and footprints of everyone showed that it was recent... Where did they take her? He scanned the room until he heard a loud crash coming from the back, where the offices were held. Steve quietly made his way there. Stepping in to the hallway, Steve silently began his search, his shield in front of him. As he stepped in a certain part, the old warehouse gave in, a creak sounding through the halls. He stood still for a few seconds, trying to listen for anyone who heard the creak... satisfied that no one was coming, he went down the hall, and turned the corner to be face to face with a blonde haired woman holding a gun at him. Steve held up his shield, ready to hear gunfire... but she didn't seem to be concerned about shooting. He peered over the rim of the shield. The very attractive blonde stared at him star struck, the gun seemed to be lowered... and Steve didn't feel like she was going to be a threat. There was something about her that was familiar... The military fashion of her holding a gun, like Peggy... her eyes showing that same professional tone, but also showed that she was clearly surprised to see Captain America in front of her.
