Vegeta kept a secure yet gentle grip of Viral's wrists, trying to do his part in taking care of his friend. If restraining him then for T'charrl's own sanity was what he had to do then he'd do it to the best of his ability. Eying the curious gel for a moment he almost asked what it was until his question was answered. "So everything that you use are all natural remedies?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. When everything on their planet was nearly chemical based it was interesting to see an alternative, and arguably a safer one at that. Perhaps before leaving they would take some plants with them, just to see if they could manage to replicate some of the medicines. After a brief explanation of precisely what the gel was it was slowly applied to the back wound, and clearly it was not enjoyable. Vegeta had to apply a bit more pressure to keep the Beastman's arms down during the application, easing up only once T'charrl had finished. If it hurts or tastes bad then it works well, that was his philosophy on medicine, and hopefully it held up here. "Bandages...? I don't think we've got anything, unless I go back to the ship to look. And I'd really rather not leave right now if it's all the same." They did need something to use though, as an open wound could risk exposure and contamination. Biting his lip in hesitation Vegeta eventually resorted to taking off his shirt, and once off he tore it right down the side to make it an extra long swathe of fabric. "There, once it's done we can use this, at least until we find something better to use," he reasoned, pausing as he looked to the door and at Yumi, smiling kindly. "Hey there, all done with Shu?" "Yeah... He's going to be okay," Yumi replied, managing a smile in turn as she walked to the table. "Brought Takeshi to him so they're relaxing right now." Looking at Viral sprawled across the table her smile wavered a bit, making note of how he seemed to be in discomfort. Her eyes trailed down along his back to the wound, curious about the gel that was on the wound. She didn't need to ask though, more than trusting the two that were looking after her friend. Resisting the urge to try and soothe the Beastman as she had Shu she put her hands behind her back, looking up at Vegeta a bit curious. "Why did you take your shirt off...?" "For a bandage, we don't have any and Viral's going to need one." Laying the shirt out at Viral's head the Saiyan grabbed hold of his shoulders, lifting him up slightly. "Yumi, I'm going to flip him, I need you to lay the shirt out so it's covering the wound. I don't want it touching the table and getting contaminated." Once the shirt was in place he eased his friend's tired frame down, moving again to hold his arms in place. After this everyone would have been seen to, at least to the degree they could be right now. While it had been the brothers who had started all of this it was now up to the rest of them to see it through, as they were the capable ones now. To that note he glanced up at Yumi, moving himself slightly for the Kaesstrian to get to work easier. "Hey... When we're done here let's go pay that general a visit. These three have to rest, but we're ready and able to see this through." Taking a pause he looked down to Viral, smiling kindly. "And then we'll find you a proper doctor and get you stitched up. What we're doing now is just temporary." Takeshi was a fair bit fitful when brought to Shu, not overly keen on facing his brother just yet. It was in good conscience that Yumi had done it, but she wasn't seeing it from his side of things or just refusing to. With little choice he was carried to the family room and subsequently left on the couch, lying at his brother's feet as their friend walked out. Cringing inwardly when Shu said he couldn't move the older boy closed his eyes, managing a weak smile as he gave a small nod. "That's good... I'm glad you got some food." Not your fault... Don't blame yourself. He tried to tell himself that again and it fell on deaf ears. Being faced with the results of the attack it was terribly challenging not to feel responsible for what had happened. The conversation took a turn for the worse when Shu asked about seeing Katas, clearly having forgotten. So did he not remember anything at all after that fact? Or if he didn't even remember Katas then what did he remember? Waking up this morning? Or even not that early back? "Yeah... Yeah we did buddy," Takeshi replied, chuckling sadly. "His name is Katas, and he was a... Weird guy. We met two other people too... And uh... We found out who was behind all of this." There was a certain tightening feeling in his chest as he struggled with coming to terms with this. Shu now had memory problems, issues that extended to who knows when. Viral had a life threatening wound that while being treated would take some time to heal, and as such continue to be a threat. All of that because he was incompetent and made a stupid mistake. Feeling tears come on again Takeshi gritted his teeth, pushing himself up until he was sitting, looking at Shu sadly. "I'm so sorry Shu..." he whimpered, a few tears slipping out. "It's all my fault what happened... And now you and Viral are hurt... And... Everyone's going to hate me for it..." What a childish thing to cry about, and yet he couldn't help it. Maybe not right now but soon enough the others were going to start shunning him and blaming him for what had happened. And rightly so, it had been his ineptitude that had caused this. "I screwed up... I'm an idiot..." he continued, lifting his hand and rubbing at his eyes with the heel of it. "And when I saw you... When I saw you hurt, I just lost it. I couldn't help it, I went nuts and I... I..." Breathing shakily he at Shu blurry eyed, sniffling softly as he shook his head. "I killed the men... All of them. I couldn't stop myself... I'm so sorry...!"
