While Goliath's rocket launcher missed, it provided a good distraction just as Alina did. The concussion grenade did stun the creature long enough for Xavier to injure the beast. Though the bullet hit the heart area, the Roc was so big, that it was a flesh wound. The monster was stunned, but it'll take a ton of rounds to take it down and out. William can go a little closer as he would have a better chance of hitting the enemy.

Dilana noticed that the humongous bird would require a lot of work to take down. The Iranian captain took advantage of the moment the Roc is stunned and shot a few rounds onto the bird. They managed to penetrate even though they weren't lethal. Might as well load for bird because it's not going to be downed easily. Alina initiated the attack by firing rounds at the bird whenever she could.
