Due to Squad 11's ban on Kido, Nishiki decided to utilise Sui's Kido skills to make sure she didn't accidentally contribute to the growth of the Swarm. Dropping down, she noticed Sui using Sōren Sōkatsui. Using this opportunity, Nishiki sealed her Zanpakuto and quickly sheathed it, deciding to use hand to hand combat to throw, kick and punch a portion of the Swarm into Sui's blast.
