CloudHaven Market District Affected Players: Prince, Chrys, Lovissa Prince's humming quieted as a smaller boy gave a clap and stuttered his praise. A cheerful smile crossed the feline's lips, a soft purr emitting from his throat. Such a cute boy this was, it was very tempting to hug him. Before he could answer though, he saw briefly a flickering shine of a coin emit from the small crowd he gathered, landing on the brim of his crimson hat. Gingerly, he reached up and felt the cold metal of a coin. Teal eye flickering, his eye caught a glimpse of a girl whom quickly disappeared, his sensitive ears managing to catch what she said. He gave a grin and waved. "Thank you beautiful maiden of shadows!" Prince chirped before turning his attention to the boy and gave a soft laugh. "Thank you as well cutie, I took quite a few lessons in music back home. Family thought it be good to learn to focus the mind. Course I'm better at the piano but the harp is a nice portable substitute." Prince chuckled, his fluffy tail flicking from side to side before leaning closer, until they were face to face. "A pleasure to know my small little skill can receive compliments by such cute handsome men like you." he purred. A listened to the man- wait... Was someone just... there? Huh a coin? Looking back he saw a girl, then she just... disappeared. "Huh." He said out loud as he continued to stare at the empty space. Then he turned his head to the cat pirate hybrid, who seemed to look at him. This guy... was interesting, he called him cute. Well, admittedly, alot of people did that and he knew it like the back of his hand. Internally, he sighed, it was such a pain to act cutesy sometimes. With that comment, his voice went just that little tad higher and his face flashed a bright pink with pools of hazel widened at the comment. "H-huh?! I-I'm not... I mean... Th-that's... I'm... not r-really that... cute..." He averted his gaze from the older and taller male, completely the act. Fidgeting a little, he took a small step back as the man inched closer. Taking a small glance at the small floating bar next to the boy's head, he tried to read the characters underneath the rectangle of green. It was in katakana, so it was an English name. "P-prince.... Your name is... Prince sir?" He asked quietly as he looked downwards. "Well... um... It's... really... I mean... I'm glad.... No, um.... I'm pleased... to meet you..." He wasn't going to introduce himself, the guy should know what health bar is after all. This guy... could prove useful. Perhaps, he could help him in an endeavour. Hold on.... there was that quest... A group quest, 3 players... The rewards was 600 gold. Who'd be the third though.... This ran through Chrys' head as the kept up the act of being a shrinking violet. Watching the stuttering boy, Prince's ears twitched as a gut feeling told him something was up. He wasn't sure what but something was telling him to be careful. It was probably right, his gut tended to be right, but for now he ignored it. Wrong or not, this was still a person talking with him who may or may not need assistance. Something Prince wouldn't ignore even if it could mean his head. Hopefully, luck will be on his side. Wait what's the luck rate in his game again? Well shit already at a bad start he guessed. "Pleasure to meetcha. Prince the Buccaneer at your service, cutie." The feline pirate purred, his playful teal filled eye all the while exhamining this boy's profile and name. With a carefree laugh, the tall man moved closer and friendly wrapped a arm around the boy's shoulder. "So what can I do for you? Another song? A gallant quest? A romantic picnic by the moonlight under he starry sky?" Prince teased with a mischievous grin. Oh great, he's dealing with one of "those". Chrys in all honesty, just needed help with a quest. He needed money, sure he split the earnings and all. This was going to be a pain. A really big pain in the-. As he stated his name and class again, he pondered for a bit. He'd heard of this class, a very hard to class to master based on dodging and shoot while staying agile. It was a similar class to his but was more fragile. "A-ah..." He managed to breath out as the cat like human wrapped his arm around his slender shoulder. He had a nice warmth, he wouldn't lie. Chrys wouldn't mind another song or a picnic but for now he needed help on this quest. "W-well... Th-there's quest that happens to be a group one... Three people are needed, it gives away 600 gold coins so... I was hoping you'd help me?" Chrys tried to explain, well he did, he just needed to get rid his arm, his face was actually getting hot. What the hell was going on? "I-I mean... I'll split the earnings! U-um... Is it okay... If you accompany me to find someone?" Chrys managed to escape the guys arm, won't be missing that.... Probably. With the power of the gods of cuteness, he looked up very gently and put on the tiniest of smiles. If one said this was just one act, he'd probably beat them to a bloody pulp for saying such a thing. He did want the guy's help, smiling was just the easiest way to get someone's trust. On the inside he simply doing what professional businessman would do, view all from a economic stand point. Chuckling as the boy shifted away from his arm, the feline's ears twitched as he listened to the stuttered request for a companion to join him on a quest. 600 gold was not bad at all for a quest, depending on what it was. Plus he wasn't exactly doing anything special so he didn't mind going on a quest or two. After all he was a mercenary as well, and isn't one of the players whom are cowering somewhere in the city. After all, if they wanted to get home, there only way was progress through this twisted game. It wasn't much to go on but it was a start. "Well I would be quite honored to accompany you. Could be quite fun, and they do say a good quest builds stronger relationships." Prince snickered, his slender fingers gingerly but playfully brushing against the boy's cheek before standing up straight and looked around, tapping his chin. "So what's the quest about? Good to have a idea so we can look for someone's class that will help us well." he said, his smile never wavering. So he had the sucker in his pocket. Time to find another sucker. How he loved acting as a fake cutesy blob of weakness. Sure it was a bit mean but it was an easier way to approach people. Well, the way he acted wasn't all an act, with all that's said and done, Chrys was always a little shy. He just knew how to use it to his advantange. An oppurtunitist is what society calls him. It doesn't matter, he's stayed alive for the past two days due to him making the right choices. Justified or not. A soft hand went over his fair cheek while hearing the other's, he snapped out of his deep thoughts. Trying to recall what the quest was about, there was something about the requirements that he just couldn't remember but what was it? "U-um... The quest is about us going to the underground and finding an item.... H-however the monster that guards it is very powerful, at least by our standards. S-so it's been made into a g-group quest..." Chrys explained quietly, what the hell was that last requirement!? He had to know. "I-I-I'll go find... someone." Chrys decided to jump and do a front flip in the air and then landed on the roof of a nearby building. Hey, that girl... She looked.... familiar. As the girl carried her casket and was currently obtaining water, Chrys looked at her with a look of deja vu. Maybe she'd be inclined to help? "Um... Prince, sir? Mind if you f-ollow me?" He requested in a meek manner. With that he jumped, building to budimg, each time making a loud clunk on the roofs. If he destroyed new property, who the hell cares. It's thier problem not his. As he jumped and landed behind the girl with an auidible thud, he put his hand behind his back. He'd wait to she was finished to ask her. It was only polite that way. Prince hummed as he listened to the quest details, arching a eyebrow as his new companion seemed to struggle exactly remembering it. Most would find this a bit suspicious like leading into a trap to kill a unsuspected player. It could be but Prince was still going, it was rare when he actually said no to someone's request. It might help that he honestly wasn't worried about his own safety. He didn't much care what happened to him, but if he could help people then he'd help as best as he could. Before he could question the smaller boy, he ran off to the rooftops. Chuckling, Prince zipped after him but remained on the ground. He didn't really want to cause to much trouble for the current citizens. They even looked at him oddly sometimes because he was of a feline race. His tall body moved swiftly while easily dodging around wandering NPC's and players alike. He kept up well enough, though the red head was looking around for any fellow players that seemed like they would be helpful. If this was underground, speed classes may have a disadvantage with closed spaces. Mobility was important, and if they also didn't have a tank to keep the opponent occupied, it could end up being a difficult quest. Having mages who could buff or heal would be helpful as well. Soon catching up to the boy, Prince mildly blinked a little as he recognized the girl and smiled. He hoped she didn't get too spooked by Chrys's sudden approach. She probably knew he was there. Usually it wasn't a good idea to sneak up on people so early into this, it might have been two days but people were still a bit paranoid. Especially with the player killing as of late. Giving a smile, he waved and came in a more graceful walk approach. "Hello once again dear maiden of shadows. Apologies for the interruption but I believe we have a favor to ask." he purred as he tipped his hat foreword in greeting. --- Inventory Wooden Harp: 1 Gold: 1
