His reaction was classic! That big shocked expression on Peter’s face was something she loved to see; and the funny thing is it took a lot to surprise Peter so seeing him react like that was always something that she really liked. Grinning from ear to ear, her face flushed red as he leaned his tall body across the table and kissed her on the cheek. He really was a wonderful guy and she couldn’t think of anything else she could do to show him that. Even though he went through hell at school and them walking the halls and holding hands weren’t the best incentive for the bullies to leave him alone, he could take care of himself and she saw that whenever she’d come out into the hallway and find a locker door on the floor. Poor Peter put up with so much crap that Lexi used it as motivation to be the light in his life. The topic of Harry was a hard one for her, if he hadn’t gone crazy; she wouldn’t be in the seat she was with her powers because he infected her. A small sigh left her when Peter brought up the topic but she wasn’t going to let him go alone; even if it would be a bit awkward to begin with. He wasn’t too happy to find out that her and Peter were dating but he would have to get over it. A small smile moved across her lips as she admitted that she would go with him to see Harry; she owed it to their friendship to see him in his final moments… so sad. The evening went well and the two ended up going out for a long walk around the city; their backpacks against their backs and hands interlocked with each other. Snow started to fall in New York City at Central Park where they were walking. It was nice to come back to a place that held such a dark moment for them but she didn’t care. She wanted to fill the place with good memories. As they went to the heart of the park Lexi stopped, her hands slowly traveled up Peter’s toned strong arms before her hands traveled up his neck and into his hair. “I love you Peter Parker. Happy three months.” She said sweetly to him as she leaned up and kissed him softly.
