Utsu watched as his cero was cut in two which made his eyes narrow, Utsu then prepared to attack Nishiki when she taunted him "[b]You think that's a smart thing to do?[/b]" Shiro came in from behind Utsu and slashed down at him, hitting his left shoulder and slamming him into the ground however he only managed to deliver a light wound to him "Huh?" Utsu pointed his index finger on his right hand at Shiro at shot a cero at him which engulfed Shiro. However once the smoke cleared Shiro appeared to have iron scales all over his body which caused Utsu's eyes to widen as he then saw Shiro's left fist come down on him. Utsu quickly rolled out the way then stumbled to his feet, just barely regaining balanced before Shiro ran at him and slashed down with great force, this meant Utsu had to raise his Zanpakuto and try to block.
