Name: Benedict Longinus Codename: Doppler Age: 28 Gender: Varies, dependent on previous contact. Identifies as male. Place of Birth: Unknown, Orphaned at birth. Raised in several foster homes across numerous states in the USA. Affiliations: Whoever catches his favor Occupation: Stage Actor Appearance: Varies dependent on previous two contacts. First contact changes appearance, second contact overlaps previous appearance. His face is always slightly off, falling only a few feet into the uncanny valley. Powers: Total Ability Duplication: Doppler is a power thief. His touch of skin on skin allows him to steal the abilities from any superpowered or mystical being. This contact is not harmful to the target in any way, shape, or form. The power theft is instant, and the moment that contact is made, he can utilize the power he has stolen. These powers are not weaker than the original, they are not more powerful. They share the exact same scale and output as the one he stole it from. (For sake of convenience, if the person he steals the power from is a magic user. His hand is the catalyst for his spells, to remove questions such as. "Where's his wand.") Total Organic Reconfiguration: As well as his power theft, his body changes internally and externally to compensate for the new ability. Interally, and externally he changes to match you biologically. Stealing features from your face and body, maybe the scar that you have on your chest. This process is complete internally, his physical condition is the exact same as yours. Unless you have a disease, then his physical condition is superior. He doesn't steal diseases. The only difference is that the skeletal structure is placed somewhere between the current target, and the previous target's. Leading him to have some strange facial structure. Power Dispersal: A powerful venting of the ability that he has stolen most recently, it is an omnidirectional blast of raw energy. Under two circumstances is this ability utilized. The first being in times of distress and threat of death. The second being whenever he steals the power of a particularly powerful being. His body cannot store the energy from godly powerful beings for a long time, at most he can hold it for two days. At which point he has to expel the power from his body to prevent himself from dying. Its usage is so rare, due to the fact that it depowers him. The potency and range of this dispersal is directly proportional to the power that he absorbed. Skills: Practicioner of Rough and Tumble: Rough and Tumble is a little known fighting style and the most direct evolution of pugilism. Rough and Tumble is a direct and brutish fighting style, not designed to be flashy or with pressure point bullshit in mind. If you fight a man who's practices rough and tumble, you'd better wear some goggles and a mouth guard. Because they'll rip your eyes off and bite your tongue out. Every opening is used, and every part of the body is a weapon. If you're caught in a grapple, you'd better watch out. He'll snap any bone he can get his hands on. Equipment/Resources: A pair of fire retardant gloves, one size fits all. Allows him to touch people without losing powers. Weaknesses: If he touches a normal, his stolen powers vanish. He may only take one powerset at a time. A second touch to a person and he will not take their whole appearance. Raw physical powers are only useful against the person that he is fighting, his ability is immediate, so he is depowered or repowered the moment that he touches another person. Psychological Profile: Doppler is a sane, polite, kind, functional, and reasonable human being. Or so he would have you believe. Doppler has a sense of importance about him, he views himself as the most important man he knows. There are few people that he regards as his equal, even if they're smarter than he is, faster, stronger. It doesn't matter. Doppler is certain that he has no equal. Though he's an actor. And the only time you'll ever see that side of him, well, let's not say when that'll happen. Biography: Doppler was born to an unknown mother and father somewhere in the East Coast of the United States. Dropped off at a church doorstep, and then put into an adoption agency. As the years went by he was sent from foster home to foster home, admittedly, he was a problem child. Picking fights with other fostered children, more than once was he kicked out of foster homes and placed directly into the program again. Eventually he found his home with an older couple who set him right, they didn't give up on him, they kept him in their home no matter what he did. And it changed him. Their refusal to let him be alone, to not just drop him because he's a problem. It showed him that there's good people in the world, and though when he turned eighteen they passed away, he still remembers them as the most influential people in his life. They gave him a sense of self importance, showing him that the only things that matter are family and your own well being. That's why he became a stage actor. In his quest to secure his own well being, he realized there was a passion for showmanship deep within him. And he took to the stage, from the very first moment his talent was quite evident. He became a method actor, able to change up his personality and even his voice with little effort. Just before the Awakening he had become quite the applicant of make up on himself, changing the appearance of his face to match the role he was playing. It's only natural that when the Awakening happened, his ability was to be able to change constantly. It can be assumed what he did next.

Name: Yu-Ri Codename: One (This has become a misconception, she replies to the "Who are you?" Question with: "I am One." People perceive her name as One, so she goes by One.) Age: 21 Gender: Female Place of Birth: Sarasota, Florida Affiliations: The League Occupation: Unemployed Appearance: A young, unhealthily thin girl with short unkempt hair and small breasts. Her skin is pale and smooth, she keeps herself clean despite not feeding herself often. One dresses simply, wearing a short dress to cover herself. The hair she does have is a deep blue-black in tone. There is something unnatural about her eyes, however. They are very wide, and rarely does she blink. Her pupils are constantly widened, overcasting her irises completely. If you ever catch her in a rare moment where her eyes aren't widened, her eyes are hazel. Powers: Sense of Infinity: Yu-Ri has become aware of the vastness of the universe and all things within and outside, the power that emerged in her allowed her to see, hear, feel, and sense all. This sense of scale has be come so great that she no longer cares for her own well being, realizing that she is simply a component in what there is. This sense of scale has also given her a view of reality from an objective point of view. Life and death are the only things that matter to her, those who bring pain and death to others are her foes. All Seeing: In all directions, as far as reality goes, One can see. One's eyes percieve inwardly, and outwardly, viewing all things in a third person perspective. All waves and patterns of light, the absence of light. Everything is within her field of view. All Hearing: From great sounds to minute vibrations, she can hear all sounds and wavelengths. Through the vacuum of space, and deep within the core. All sound is accessible to her. All Feeling: What others may feel, she may as well. When the universe moves, she can feel its subtle yet great existence. All Smelling: Everything in the universe has a scent, and she can detect these scents through even the vacuum of space. All Tasting: The subtle hues of a star's dust, the strong flavor at the core of the universe. All these and more dance across her tongue at the slightest wimsy. Omnilingual: In just a few hours she can learn any language, breaking language barriers faster than anyone else. Selective Sense: One can focus her mind and shut off or dampen her senses, allowing her to perceive the world in close proximity to herself. This makes her immune to foul stenches, excruciating pain, loud noises, disgusting flavors. So on and so forth. Branched Thought: Her thoughts and cognitive faculties can be spread out to multitask and sense in multiple directions at once. Allowing her mind to be utilized to its fullest extent. Projected Mind: Both her primary means of communication and defense. Her thoughts, her senses can be projected into someone else's mind. If she wishes to defend herself with this ability, she may project pain from a certain location in the universe into their mind. As with all psionic powers, this may be resisted. But in a war of attrition against One, her mental fortitude is second to none. These projected thoughts can be in any voice, allowing her to fool people into thinking that there's more than one voice in their head. These thoughts can also carry images, smells, tastes, and all of these are perceived internally. No physical harm comes to those who fall victim to this. (And no, it is not to be assumed that this allows her to read minds. It does not.) Skills: Aside from the use of her mental abilities, she has no skills. Weaknesses: Though her mental prowess are astounding, she herself has no physical ability. Meditation and inactivity do not prove to be excellent exercise. She is weak, frail, and can barely defend herself. Psychological Profile: Yu-Ri has succumb to the most potent case of Ego-Death in history. With total perception of her own size in this universe, with her own insignificance, she has become a strange entity. No longer with a human thought process. Only two things matter to One. Life and death. The preservation of life, and the cessation of death. She spends her lazy minutes observing the universe and counting. She has reached well into the billions. She does not actually stop counting, she just counts slower when she is occupied with other things. One refers to herself in third person. Biography: Yu-Ri's family immigrated from South Korea to the US to pursue job opportunities and their dream. Her father became a rather successful businessman, her mother an interior designer. The risk they took to travel to pursue their dreams payed off pretty well, and they had a fairly well off life. In fact, their life was pretty idylic and to some it would be considered boring. Then, like all other people in this world, they witnessed the Awakening. On the day itself, Yu-Ri fell into a deep trance. Her parents put her into medical care, trying to find out what happened to her. Yu-Ri's father paid thousands of dollars to doctors to conduct hundreds of tests on her. Nothing came up conclusive. For almost a year she was in the hospital, and eventually she was moved into in home care. It was six months after she was moved to in-home care, she woke up in her bed and no longer responded to her name. They thought she had lost her memory, but no, she was simply disconnected from them. One left home, leaving no note, leaving everything behind. Yu-Ri wandered for the longest time, simply experiencing the universe for herself. Resting where she liked, eating what she wanted. Doing whatever she wished. Defending herself against people who decided to harm her. When suddenly, she stumbled upon Doppler. Who decided to help her out, and take her with him to see if they could put their powers to use.
