Jaakuna's concern was well placed, his observation was not quite accurate. As they flew further away, the strange feeling vanished. Still, what in the world could that have been? It didn't matter right now, though. She never thought she would be so happy to be in the Ifrit again, considering last time she was absolutely dreading her fate as she was being lead to her doom. She was smiling, a legitimate, gentle, happy smile on her face. She could cry, she was so happy that they both got out alright. For now, they were safe. For now, she was safe. And it was thanks to him. In a moment of pure bliss, something that she even surprised herself by doing, Emiri slid off the bench and onto her knees, landing right in front of Jaakuna. She then slipped her arms over his shoulders and pulled him into a hug. She was so grateful that she didn't notice that she had kept them like that for a moment. When she did realize it, however, she did pull back, slightly embarrassed. "Forgive me, I just...thank you." The way her eyes gleamed with gratitude was indescribable. She then stood up, brushing herself off. She was still a little cold, but her hug had warmed her up, so to speak. Not that she would ever admit it. She then cleared her throat, placing her hands behind her back. Her euphoria faded somewhat, and they needed a plan, so to speak. As she opened her mouth to voice her thoughts, her expression suddenly fell. She raised a hand to her cheek, it burning something fierce. She had completely forgotten about it, she was so caught up in her own emotions she failed to realize what exactly was traced on Aloa's heels. Emiri froze, her eyes wide, her expression one of panic as she let out a small gasp. Suddenly, everything hurt, every limb and bone, and pain shot through her body. She reached out for Jaakuna, but as quickly as it came, she felt herself thrown into darkness. Emiri collapsed onto the floor of the Ifrit.
