"Attention all first year students; please go to the ballroom for the night. Tomorrow your team-selection begins, and you will all need your strength for the trials ahead." Ineko looked up, then at Bruce, "TIME TO GO, THEY WANT US K-O'D. I'LL HEAD OUT FIRST.", he got up and stretched, cracking several joints. He let out a resounding "AH, HAVEN'T DONE THAT IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. RIGHT, I'LL MEET YOU THERE." He walked out of the arena, watching the sun go down. He checked his clock, and supposed he could be late a couple of minutes. He took out a T-Shaped key and jabbed it into his neck, he cranked it several times and then took it out, putting the key back into its small pouch. He said something in techno, but this time, the volume was much quieter. More towards an indoor voice. The drones on his back detached and flew towards the nearest vending machine. They hovered around the front of the vending machine for a short moment, moving up and down and to each other, like they were discussing something, making quiet beeps and tones. Finally, one of them pressed the button for vegetable juice using their nose. Using some clever moves, one of the drones had gotten the can of juice to sit on top of themselves. Meanwhile, Ineko looked for an out of the way spot with no one in sight. He quickly found it, as most of the students had already, or were in the process of going to the ballroom. A moment later, the six drones came back, one of them with a can of juice on top of them. Ineko smiled and took the can off of the drone, placing it on a nearby bench. The six drones flew off after delivering the juice and began to play, flying through the air trying to tag each other. Ineko's helmet hissed as it depressurized, a panel on the back opened up and he took his helmet off, setting it down on the bench next to the juice. He sat down, his face covered in cotton gauze, leaving only his mouth, eyes and nostrils exposed. It took him a couple of minutes to finish the 12oz can of juice. Taking tiny sips at a time, he watched his drones play in the setting sun. The blazing orange made him uncomfortable, as soon as he could, he put on his helmet, tossed the empty can into the recycling bin and began his walk to the ballroom. His drones following close behind. He walked alone and silently, occasionally looking back to make sure his drones were still following. How many people had he met upon landing? Two? Maybe three? It was good enough for the first day. Upon entering the ballroom, he saw that most students were already in their beds. Sleeping, reading, socializing. He spotted an empty bed somewhere in the middle, and as he made his way over there, a couple pairs of eyes were drawn to him. Mostly people were in comfortable clothing, but Ineko was still in his armor. Ineko grabbed the blanket that was over his mat and shaped it into a small circular nest. The six drones slowly landed in the nest, a couple adjusting themselves to get comfortable. Ineko sat down in the lotus position next to his nest, humming a tune that resembled the song, The Humbling River. Despite the tremendous snoring of some students, the quiet tune reached some ears, but more importantly it was a tune to let his drones relax. When Ineko was sure that his drones were asleep, he sat upright and sat still. His eyes closed.
