"Mhm." Gareth nodded along. Jezin was correct, and the half-elf was particularly enthused to see that Tremora wasn't particularly sided with anyone either, except for Sophia. It meant that he had another group of neutral people, people with no prior involvement whom the factions of the castle also fought over. "There is a war for our alliances. Defend yourselves. We need, however, to keep each other up-to-speed with information. I notion that we be each other's eyes around the castle for the time being. If we have our own set of informants, we can secure ourselves more safety." His concerns, by then, were primarily of ensuring at least the group's own security, and they weren't particularly misplaced concerns, for in such a grave time, protecting the good that was left was necessary. Sophia was of prime importance to the group, of course, given that the danger she was in jeopardized the stability of it all.
