Arashi watched in concern as it let loose it's attack, an enormous wave of searing, blazing hot energy rocketed forth, a deafening blast of thunder echoing through the atmosphere as it hurtled towards Hana, and he was suddenly worried she wouldn't be up to the task, the ability wasn't called 'Doom Flash' for no reason, it took a long time to charge, but once it was let loose it was devastating, terrifying, and utterly undeniable in its destructive force. Few attacks could match the sheer, raw power of a Cero. But the shield was holding, with difficulty and she looked rather strained as a continuous wave of volatile, blood red energy hammered down into her, the air was tinted red, winds gusted and howled furiously at the sheer force, trees uplifted and scattered and Arashi was in awe of spite of himself, now he understood why Menos were usually tackled by multiple Lieutenant class shinigami or higher. And this was almost to the level of an Adjuchas. Focusing his power, he began drawing reishi, his spiritual pressure raising higher and higher, it wouldn't be long before the Menos noticed the growing wave of power. He was drawing forth all of it, every last ounce of energy that Arashi had, he needed to end this one blow, they could not survive a sustained battle with a Menos, not with that kind of firepower at it's disposable. I am...the storm He thought as he spoke "Let the skies thunder with your sorrows...Ikazuchi-Hitan." With a single flash step he was there behind the hollow as it finally noticed him, ceasing it's assault on Hana and moving with great speed that belied it's bulk to face this new threat, but it was already too late as Arashi's zanpaktou exploded into a beam of crackling lightning, so bright that it hurt to look at, like a piece of heaven itself, blazing with fury. The long loop of lightning lazily whirled and swirled about Arashi, the Menos already had begun to charge an attack, but it was too late as Arashi merely whipped the lance of skyfire forward, it shot forward faster then any eye could see, slamming down into the Menos, it convulsed and the very recognizable sound of a screaming hollow burst from it's mouth as it reeled back in agony as fingers of lightning seared through every inch of it's body. Stumbling around in pained confusion, it finally got a hold of itself, and deliberately, slowly pulled itself back to Hueco Muendo, a gaping rent in it's body. It's odds of survival had dropped significantly, and Arashi sealed his blade as it retreated and rushed to see if Hana was okay.
