Portnoy's Complaint by Philip Roth I truly enjoyed it's candid treatment of sexuality. It is a humorous monologue of "a lust-ridden, mother-addicted young Jewish bachelor," who confesses to his psychoanalyst in "intimate, shameful detail, and coarse, abusive language." It really touched my heart with it's raw exposure of the truth Writes Penny as she remembers a strange book she read at the asylum's pitiful stained and sparse library. She goes into lurid detail of the books stranger events "Warning Adult Content"
