Antidotes were never pleasant tasting. Still, the disgusting liquid had cured her of her ailment, and Emiri felt silly for panicking like she did. She coughed, sticking her tongue as the taste nearly made her throw up. Once she felt steady, she leaned back against the wall, breathing in heavily. She had apparently leapt to conclusions in assuming they were safe. She looked at Jaakuna, and let out a laugh. "I must ask for your forgiveness again, I was careless." She rubbed her cheek lightly, her cut poison free. She then ran a finger over the cut, intending to heal it, but though she was away from whatever was messing with her powers, it seemed like she still had some trouble grasping it. She winced as the cut reopened itself. "What should we do know?" She asked, slightly irritated at her cut cheek. "We've not one but two nations to avoid now. I don't suppose you're one for hiding though, are you?" ----- "I have my ticket for home already, sir." Nadeline said, waving said ticket around. "Believe me, Aloa forced me to purchase it in front of her so that I would return to Stigma. However, I did want to speak with you before my departure." The white haired man sat at his desk, beckoning for the blonde haired girl to do the same. She gratefully accepted, and the two sat in a comfortable silence as Nadeline gathered her thoughts. She wanted to let Roman know of the events of the night, but wasn't exactly sure where to start. It had been a long night for both of them for different reasons. To her surprise, he spoke first, "I have to ask Your Highness to forgive my younger brother. He is a bit...on the irascible side." Nadeline shrunk in her seat, letting out a nervous laugh. It seemed he was aware of the fight after all. She quickly cleared her throat as she didn't have much time. "Of course. I had thought that you should know of the events that had transpired this evening...as well as resuming a previous conversation of ours." She paused for a moment, and decided to start from the so called beginning--Emiri. "The weapon my aunt was looking for...it's a Hume. I know her personally. I think I saw her power as she and Jaakuna somehow escaped past you and the Archadian general." "The young lady that was with my brother? Interesting." "Yes, they're lovers you see, that's why they escaped together." What? For once Roman was completely thrown off guard. That was surprising, to say the least, especially since last he recalled, technically speaking Jaakuna was still married to Savayna. At least, he thought so. Would a marriage be null if one of the lovers disappeared and became a criminal? And despite his crude nature, Jaakuna wasn't that much of a playboy. Mainly flirting but never really going anywhere. At least, that's what Roman thought. "I...I see...how..." What was the word he was looking for? "Romantic, isn't it?" Nadeline gushed, positively blushing as she grinned from ear to ear. He was going to say unusual, but he'd just wait until he saw Jaakuna again to confirm the situation, lest he incured Savayna's wrath by mentioning his new partner (Girlfriend? Lover? Now he was getting curious). Nadeline was also strangely enthusiastic about it. "I'm green with envy." Roman managed to say. "Me too!" The princess obviously did not recognize sarcasm.
