An odd look appeared on Jaakuna’s face. He hadn’t had this discussion with anyone before because there was no need for it. Jaakuna was never asked about his past or his marriage to Savayna because there was no need. He never got close to anyone, or at least not for enough time for said people to be able to question him about his wife/ex-wife. So, Jaakuna wasn’t prepared for this conversation, but he knew he had to have it. Setting his food aside, Jaakuna slid the plate to the side. “Well, it’s a little more complicated than that. “Jaakuna spoke as he looked down at the table, then he looked back up. “Yes, they are — were her clothes, and yes she’s my wife — erm ex-wife, I don’t know. “Jaakuna stood up, looking at the sink, then back at Emiri. “There‘s a lot you don‘t know about me, about her, and why I ran from my home three years ago."Jaakuna said as he was leaning against the sink, hands on it as his elbows were bent in a position that made them that way when he set his hands on the edge of the sink.
