Yes, you read right. In order to restore your lost honour and regain your rightful place amongst your peers, you must sally forth and commit the sanctified ritual of Sudoku, a ritual which to date, no one has managed to complete. Once the deed is done, you shall have to sally forth from the dungeon of your lord, and search throughout the land, sky and sea for the four-and-fifty lost pieces of Sudoku. Some are guarded by the liches, great men of the past whose codes of honour and loyalty tied them to this earth even after their bodies decayed and became dust. Some may be found cast into the bottom of the ocean, where the sand and dust and sea creatures has almost eroded their polished lustre of the purest cut orichalcum with their numerals bright and gleaming scarlet in the watery depths. Some may be found in shops, dusty antiques kept from merchant to merchant for the promise of gold. And it is your duty, young dishonoured one, to find and collect all four-and-fifty of them, and complete the ritual before the spectre of the King's Peace be upon you.

In To Commit Sudoku, the vast majority of the land is governed by city-states, mostly on good terms with each other and acting as a united county against any external force. The vast majority of politics takes place in secret, behind closed doors. Some states have kings, others a senate. None are democratic.

Euskadtcha, City of warriors and wine, on the coast, famous for its taverns and soldiers. The breadbasket of the region, this city exports more essential grains and fruits then any other region. The native people are white, friendly, and boisterous.[/*]
Alleimansae. City of crisp minds, in the dead centre of the map, littoral and river based, this city is the roost of the Dragonking, the militaristic leader of international affairs. . Politicians, logicians, and theoretical thinkers call this place home. The native people are white, thin, and predisposed towards using their minds before coming to blows. [/*]
Rotaska, the Eternally moving city, located in the mountainous region to the west. Chemists and Rangers call this city home, as well as the architects who get constantly employed to rebuild the city after the latest big explosion levelled the place. The people are greyish skinned, cheerful, diligent, and prone to asthma attacks [/*]
Bonne Chance: the City of Ten Thousand Years, located in the grey woods halfway up the mountains to the west. The seat of the Mortician's guild, the highest body of necromancers and funeral directors in the city. The people, contrary to expectation, are large and ruddy, being sons of woodsmen and hunters.[/*]
Unsen: Island City. famous for its cuisine. Located on the delta of the river, on the east side of the map, and the gateway to the sea. A fine little gathering spot for Illusionists and artists, as well as a flourishing trade in the new shipyards. The natives are smallish, tanned, accustomed to a seafood diet. [/*]
District-06, the New City. A shining gleaming new blight on the landscape, District-06 is a modern city built on tier after tier of wooden housing designed to weather and absorb the fierce earthquakes of the north. Home to the new guild of artificers, bright-eyed men with minds full of gears and springs as well as the vast majority of the petit-bourgeois middle class. [/*]
Look South, a frontier outpost to the vast expanse of grey sand to the south (Original name, huh?). A famous landing spot for the mad or religious. Several great wizards either hail from here or visited the place as youths. The people are hardy, wiry, prone to covering up in lukewarm weather. [/*]

Number one. No Godmodding. That means that you're character is not going to be perfect, and they are going to screw things up. Accept that, and we'll all have a good time here. Number two. No Metagaming. That means that whatever happens In character should not affect what happens out of character, and visa versa. I don't want to see silly drama about who did what to whom, because this is a GAME. We're all here to have fun kicking things so hard they leave an impression on the nearest wall. Number three. I am GM. As GM, i will control pretty much any and every character that you come across. As Gm, i hope to make the world i'm dropping you guys into fun. If it's just not fun for you guys, i'm holding myself responsible. So please tell me if things aren't going the way you wanted them to. Number four. I know that there's a pesky little thing called "Real life" that sometime gets in the way of playing games. If you're going to drop out or be unable to play for any length of time greater then, say, a week, Please for the love of cheese inform us. Nothing's worse then waiting on someone who's not even going to show up. Number five. This RP is going to involve fighting. Possibly between other players. Please keep combat swift and fierce. I don't want long-drawn out fights with everyone charging up their attacks like this was Dragonball Z. If you get stabbed in the shoulder, you aren't going to just shrug it off. Even if you were wearing armor, it's quite likely that the impact could've broken your arm, Fight scenes that go beyond, say 30 posts back-and-forth, are discouraged. Number six. I reserve the right to deny anyone who shows up with a poorly written character sheet, and the right to ban anyone who breaks any of the rules as detailed above.

In order to enter, please submit a character sheet for the character you wish to play as. If you have any questions, please ask them in the thread, not via PM. It'll help me from answering the same question over and over again. Oh yes. Character sheets have to be done in First person. Answer the questions from the perspective of your character himself, using "I am" rather then "He is." Name: (Pretty self explanatory. In this setting, last names are written first.) Profession: (What was your character's job? Was he a Soldier? Mortician? Bureaucrat? Merchant? Artist? Tradesman? Unemployed? None of the above?) Age:(Keep it in the 20s and 30s. Anyone younger then that is too young to properly understand the sacred concept of Honour, and anyone older is too jaded to care. ) Appearance: (A short couple of paragraphs or a single picture will do nicely.) Preferred Weapon: (Times are tough, and with bandit attacks ever more prevalent, Citizens are starting to take the law into their own hands. Be warned: The bigger and flashier your weapon, the more likely guards will "Randomly" stop you in the streets and ask you for the necessary paperwork for such weapons.) Hometown: (In "Notable cities" i have outlined a few of the bigger cities. Feel free to make up new ones if you don't like any of the pre-made ones on the list. ) History: (Who is your character? Where did they come from? Were they loners? Did they come from money? Did they attend a school? Why did they choose their profession? Are they religious? Do they believe in one god, none or several?) Why you've taken up the quest: (The quest is a societal obligation as much as it is a personal one. People take the quest because they've done wrong in the eyes of another. Who was that person? Why did you do wrong to them? In addition, most people never find more then Three of the Four-And-Fifty before having the person they've done wrong to forgive them for their sins. What makes your character different to that? Why are you so determined to find all of these lost relics?) Personality: (Who are you? How do you do things? Why do you do things that way? In what way does your character differ to just being you in a wierd world?) Inventory: (What do you have in your pockets?) Other Info: (Anything I've missed that you feel is necessary to point pit have missed.) Here, have a template.
