Kasus trotted along besides the rest of his comrades down a road littered with snow. The tall tree's made determining the time of day difficult, not to mention the heavy weather. Walking along the road his temporary halberd rested behind his neck on both shoulders. Both of his hands had a firm grip on the weapon, it wasn't too heavy but was becoming a nuisance to carry around due to it's large size. Kasus either underestimated his strength or overestimated how heavy the weapon would be. Either way he was tired of carrying the thing and missed his twin-blade. Asking Hans to send out a search party once they return with the princesses didn't sound like a bad idea. He was probably going to offer some kind of reward anyways. Still the thought of asking the man for anything at all felt kind of funny after he had been so kind to them, Kasus scrunched his face, trying to think of a solution. Maybe if he explained to Jared how much personal value the weapon had he'd let him look for it himself. "So ... I know this is kinda late but, if we are going to save a princess together and possibly die trying to I would at least like to know your names." Possibly die trying? Were they already facing such a life-threatening task? Well, technically dealing with these heartless is always life threatening, but still. All they had to do is find the two princesses and bring them home, that's pretty easy. It was just a really complex game of hide and seek when you think about it. "Maybe Serene meant die from the cold? Oh! Hey! Serene! I know her name." Kasus wasn't sure how he knew the girl's name, but he did. He was almost positive she had introduced herself back in the Enterprise. "You're right; it is kind of silly that we haven't exchanged names yet, I'm Simo. I don't really have much of an interesting tale to tell about my past, I'm pretty average. I grew up in a forest raised by my dad, where I learned how to hunt...and that's pretty much everything noteworthy about my life so far. Well, other then running into these strange Heartless creatures at that last world we were in, but you all know that story" Kasus turned towards Simo almost mesmerized by his introduction. "Growing up in a forest?!" The word's practically jumped out of his mouth, "That sounds absolutely interesting!" He looked towards the ground as he walked, lost in the thought of living in a forest. Kasus woke up in the same boring room in the same boring store for almost a decade, the idea of living in a forest was almost unfathomable. He hadn't even seen snow before arriving to Quark, and had only ever seen trees in books and photo's. The entire world was other-worldly and the only thing keeping him from running off to explore was the urge to find the princesses so they could get back to the Enterprise and see more. Kasus was about to ask Simo what types of animals he hunted in the forest, when the blue haired boy (or girl) spoke up unexpectedly. "My name is Elim, that is all you need to know about me." Great. He was hoping the name would clear up the gender issue Kasus was having, but even Elim sounded like it could be for both a boy and a girl. Not that it mattered, it was just bugging him. "Also I don't know if its the same here, but wintry regions like these tend to house more than just those Heartless creatures. We should also be on the lookout for wolves and any other form of arctic creature." Kasus frowned, upset he (or she) had already changed the subject before he could introduce himself. Looking towards Elim with somewhat of a blank face, Kasus was curious what Elim's story was. He (or She) came off as some kind of mercenary or soldier and seemed to be completely serious the whole time since Kasus met him (or her) earlier in the day. Granted, none of the others had said much, including himself, but still, Elim gave off a no nonsense attitude and it was rather intimidating. "Arctic Creature?" Kasus asked, "Like, a snowman or something?" He turned his attention to their leader. "Hey Jared, do you know where we're going? I can't see any mountains,"
