Devika raised her eyebrows. She didn't believe that Nicholas wasn't hiding his feelings. But she wasn't going to push it- she didn't know him well enough for that. To his statement, she shook her head very slightly. "I'm sorry, but... that doesn't sound like anything abnormal. In fact, it sounds like he was having a panic attack." She smiled vaguely. "You or Flood don't seem like the type to have such a thing... but those are pretty much the symptoms. You feel like you can't breathe, you pour down sweat, you're afraid because you feel like you're having a heart attack and you're going to die. If you could have taken his pulse, it would have been off the charts, I'm sure."
