"Hold on a moment." Mayt groans when she knocks, and after a few minutes he opens the door. It's obvious he had just finished washing himself. "Thanks, Penny." He started taking the stuff from her, taking it in and setting it next to the bed slowly, leaving the door open. Penny can see it's a simple two-room apartment (If you can call a bathroom a room.), the bed is ruffled and has some odd things scattered on it. A few books, a knife, some candles, things of that accord. He has a chess set shoved into a corner, and he's cleared out a small-ish space in the center of the room, his sword is resting within arms reach of the bed, and the rest is just too much of a mess to make out much. Once he had put everything by his bed, he moved back to the door, blocking it from view. "Thanks Penny, I guess I'll see you around the guild sometime soon." He gave her a quick smile before starting to close the door, but stopping before it's almost completely closed and opening it again. "By the way, if you need a place to stay, I'm pretty sure the Guild rents rooms, and there's a couple hotels around here." He looks outside the door like he can actually see something outside. "And if you absolutely can't be bothered to spend a few gems I have a couple of spare bedrolls." He starts to close the door again, not giving her time to say anything or argue. He didn't want to have to explain anything.
