Traveling through the castle and within its walls, Adeline had become tired of her long journey. The responses from everyone were limited and there were a lack of sights to those she searched for. It was honestly becoming a large consumption of her time, giving her a tinge of fear that the importants may have already left and she simply did not know about this. That would create a large gap in her duty and a greater challenge, perhaps one that she would not be able to manage with others. She had to take the opportunity of a small situation before it grew into a beast... It was bound to do so, and she knew it would occur if she dared allow it. As she traveled the corridor, there was a relieved appearance, a relaxed smile to see the king -- excellent, there was someone still around, and someone who happened to listen to her. She gave her smile off to a maid, along with a nod, as a token of appreciation. It was nice to know that someone listened to her, but it was understandable as why no one would. There was a sense of distance in her voice, or so she was told, and a sense that she was snobbish, but she can easily argue this off as a mistake. However, she would understand those who saw her as insane, but she dared to not say anything that would make her sound as such... Not on purpose, at least. As he approached, she did not hesitate to give her proper greeting with a bow, which was opposed to a lady's curtsy. This was simply due to the lack of a skirt and the common knight manner. She kept her head low until he spoke, which she looked up to him with an inquisitive look. She expected him to be a lot more crude, but it was obvious among the units of the kingdom that he did seem to have a bias... No one could pin-point why, and even so, they had no room to speak as to why since they did not know him. "My lord," She began, "No need to call me by my whole name. Everyone calls me Adel, and it is my preference too." She set her eyes on him, studying his appearance... He was aged, the grey withering his glory, but postured and mannered himself like a king. Good. He should keep that. "I have contacted you about the meeting with the three kingdoms at the Round Table, and I've been anticipating a response. I assume you have come to reply, in person too, to my request? If such is not a burden to you, but I think I am most reasonably fit in joining the meeting with all honestly... That is, as I... chirp and repeat," She whipped a small smile on her lips, one which remained gently over the comparison of a bird. The king was quite a charmer. Good. He should keep that too. "If it is not a burden among those coming along. I assure you, it would be a wise choice..." She lowered her head, as if she was about to bow again, and had shifted her hands tighter to her side. There was a small prayer to herself that was made in hopes of being accepted. This was her one chance -- she dare not to screw it up. Her cape rested gently on her shoulders, but the sway and movement from shoulder to the back of her knees represented the worry and fear of missing this chance as a whole.
