You can't interrupt your own post Vordak, and even if you could, there's no way you could shift your forward momentum to backward momentum fast enough to completely avoid the kick.

Things that aren't okay in the post: Altering your characters previously written actions (the lunge forward) when my character's action (the kick) was barely even initiated (this is exactly the scenario I wrote out as something I wanted to avoid). If an action is described as happening (without a qualifier), then that action will be completed unless interrupted or negated by the opponent.

Things that are okay in the post: The slash at Sev's leg. My post stated specifically that I was interrupting the second slash, so you would be free to alter it as you see fit (and within the realm of possibility).
