I was first inspired when I looked up heard of a "Chainsaw Grip Gatling Gun" and was disappointed to see that it was not a Gatling gun with an under slung chainsaw. Than I found God Eater, which did help aliviate some of that need of chainsaw/Gatling Guns, but it wasn't quite the same. Still, the idea is there.
