For armor plates that could take a hit from anything short of depleted uranium and keep on going, a pointy knife and the force of a kick were small obstacles indeed. The dagger would pierce the rubber sole easily enough, but on contact with the alloy armoring underneath it would find it's offensive journey very suddenly redirected. Thanks to the kick possessing both more mass and more momentum than the dagger and the arm that held it, it would be driven backward straight toward its wielder's stomach with enough force to drive the handle deep into the man's abdomen, whether it was pointed or not. It would be immediately after that occurred (if no way was found to mitigate that occurrence) that the sword would strike his leg and be halted in its tracks by the armor's plating. It would be at this point that the air burst is unleashed, if the other man still possesses the fortitude to do so, and knocks the leg aside, out to Sev's left. Due to its point being stuck in the sole of the boot, the dagger (whether embedded in Vos' stomach or not) would be wrenched to Vos' right as Sev's leg is knocked away.
