It makes a good contrast, I think. Brutally messy chainsaw/axe/Gatling gun/rocket launcher/flame thrower with a big burly orc fighting alongside an elegant but deceptive lethal fan/blade/boomerang girl who's secretly a cannibal. There's really no way that it wouldn't work.
