Lilly felt Marie's true emotions once she hugged her. Lilly responded in kind and hugged her too.

Lilly: ... I'm sorry. I saw a different you. That you never had any weakness to hold you back. But now that I remember, you're a human, just like me.

Lilly: Truth be told... I can't help you that much. I never had a father or a mother to begin with. It was always me, Magio, Necrox and Peach. I was so sure that I never needed that. But I needed. I wanted someone to scream at me whenever I was wrong, someone to sing as I always had problems to sleep. But I never had that. Everything in my life... was so logical that I... envy you, somehow.

Lilly left the hug and looked at Marie. She used her fingers to remove the tears from her face. And then, she smiled.

Lilly: Marie... I promise that whenever you falter, or whenever you need a comfort... I will be there as your friend. I don't want your life like mine, entirely based on logic.

Necrox: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! What a surprise!! I never laughed this good!! Oh, how I'll torment him with that!! He better be ready, but I'll be a friend that he'll never forget!!

Then, Necrox felt something that something that was missing into his heart returned. He sighed, seeming relieved.

Necrox: I finally understood. What makes my brother better than me... is that he tests how much he can trust someone... and ends up truly gaining more than only a trust. He gains friends. People that he believes and trusts, and that at the same time, receives their hope, their happiness and gains a reason to keep trying...
