Carmen chuckled at Lily's reaction. [b]"Of [i]course[/i] I can fly,"[/b] she said, transforming (as dramatically as possible) into her gaseous skylark bird form. [b]"You didn't think I was just a [i]human[/i], did you?"[/b] she asked lightheartedly, clearly still herself.

Looking over at Lily's newly sprouted wings, she had an intrigued look on her face...that is, if it was possible to tell what expression a huge gaseous bird had.

[b]"Oh, those are beautiful,"[/b] she commented. After a pause and a much more dissatisfied look, she added, [b]"They don't match your dress though...um...anyway. That sounds lovely!"[/b] She was definitely disappointed in herself despite having literally no way to predict that Lily would have pink angel wings.
