"I understand you didn't know it was me. But would you have lead this 'random soldier' on? to lie to him when you teach him how to dance, or watch movies or...kiss?" He asked her, no longer yelling, but still a bit frustrated. But as he thought before... It wasn't her fault. he watched her go to the door, opening it for him, watching her cry over this... and honestly, it broke his heart. He never saw Peggy break down and cry, but he had a feeling she might have shed a tear when he crashed in to the arctic... She was much like her. A hard strict agent who wants to get the job done, but also has a sweet side, a playful one that only attracted Steve to her more... But it wasn't Peggy he thought about when he saw her. It was hopefully the person he thought he knew. Sharon. "I don't want to go either." He said desperately. "I know you and Fury might think I need help in this new world, but I can take care of myself. Especially in a place where I grew up with literally every illness you can think of. "I don't need an agent watching over me every waking second. I don't need S.H.I.E.L.D. dictating my whole life..." He trailed off, and after a bit of looking at his doorway across the hall through Sharon's open door, he looked at her. "I need... someone who can make amazing apple pie. And can teach me how to dance. And to watch all these classic movies that I have yet to watch, and not judge me for it." Steve's expression softened a bit, showing a faint smile at her... God, even when she was in tears she looked beautiful... Truth be told, though, he liked her with a smile much much more.
