“Would I have led someone on?” Sharon repeated staring at the floor. “In order to lead someone on you have to have a plan and a reason. I had no plan nor a reason. The extension of my knowledge was to watch over you, that is all. I was never told I needed to spend time with you or anything like that. I did it upon my own free will. I did it because I wanted to. I wanted to get to know you, I found you interesting and fun and funny and charming in an adorable shy way that I had never experienced before. I found someone that I could get along with which is why… even though I didn’t tell you what my job was, everything else was and is the truth.” She said with a nod. Leaning against the door she let out a small sigh, her gaze staying locked on the floor until he began to talk about apple pie, dancing and watching movies. A small smile crept across her lips. “Steve, I just have one question for you.” With that she turned to him leaning against the door. She could be shooting herself in the foot for asking such a thing but he was pointing a lot of fingers at her for lying to him and while she didn’t tell him the whole story, she needed to know. “I didn’t tell you the details of my job but I was honest with you about everything else. Okay except for the glasses, that was something I’ve been doing for years but my eyesight is actually fine. But…” Her bare foot trailed along the carpet making the infinity sign as she turned her blue gaze up to him. “When were you going to tell me you were Captain America?” Her question was sheepish, almost shy-like. Remember she had been admiring him for so long and had struggled to meet him since they found him again and now… well she had kissed him; and yet, she was still shy to think that her Steve Rogers was thee Captain America!!
