As Shinji and the arrancar ascended into the Garganta, a figure appeared on a roof behind all the gathering Shinigami, looking up to the pillars of light he narrowed his eyes. Shinji looked down to see this figure and instantly his eyes widened dramatically as they went into the garganta "[b]You![/b]", it closing behind them. The figure then looked down at the Shinigami then spoke "Well...you are in quite a situation here...a good thing I have showed up to help you." the figure raised their left hand to their hat and tipped it up revealing their face "You may call me Juki...and like it or not...I'm your new Head Captain. Now don't get me wrong...I do not want to do this job, but without a leader you will descend into chaos and will get nowhere...so. I am here to lead you, the Gotei 13 to victory...you will win this war so long as you follow my every order. If any of you wish to challenge me for the Head Captain spot right now then be my guest...I can assure you that you will be made a fool of...so...who will challenge me?" Juki stood still, awaiting his first attacker...or were these a smart bunch of people? well...they'd be right not to trust him, he was a stranger but it wasn't like they had a choice. Out of all the Shinigami here one possibly knew who he was...but would they speak up?

Kurisa looked at the man known as Juki...he recognised the name from somewhere but the face...he could not. Juki after all was considered a legendary Shinigami...ex-Shinigami...no one knew what really happened to him but looking at the state of this guy some pieces could add up. Kurisa then spoke out to his comrades "Members of the Gotei 13...I will not order you to do anything, I have no place...I can only order my Squad in what to do and as Captain of Squad 6 I ask them all to stand down and not to approach this man, as for the rest of the Gotei 13...I can only recommend you do the same...if this man is who he says he is then we stand no chance, even if all of us went at him at once. I would give you what little background I know about Juki but that we do not have time for. I will say this though...the man known as Juki...puts our traitorous ex-Head Captain to utter shame. What you gather from this is up to you.." Kurisa didn't want to lose any more Shinigami but he didn't want to go ordering Shinigami of other squads about...he had no place
