When he spoke jokily about that specific way of making money, her smile cracked a little more. It felt nice to smile but she didn’t want to lead him down the wrong road. He wasn’t getting any of what she could offer body wise but he seemed somewhat nice so she didn’t want to mislead him to think he’d get some action when the most he would see is her blade to his throat. There were a lot of things that this man said that took her by surprise. One it was Star-Lord, which was a phrase she had never heard. Two, his definition of what Star-Lord meant; he was insinuating that he was one of the bravest, handsomest, strongest and most honorable warrior from his home planet. Her eyebrow rose slightly at the worded but she didn’t make a comment to question what he said. The third thing that took her by surprise was that he called her Miss Ivy. On her home planet she was known as Lady Ivy or Princess Nikki but even to just be addressed by proper, nice manners were surprising. When he moved to face her better, she turned as well; nearly involuntarily to match his body language. In her mind she was doing it because she didn’t want to be rude, so far talking to this guy wasn’t a bad thing. And it was nice not to talk to a smooched face alien. But would he take her turning to him as a flirtatious thing or just a common curtsey thing? Guess it depends on his level of arrogance. “Please call me Nikki.” She said as she picked up a couple more potato fingers and popped them into her mouth. Once she swallowed she potato fingers and gave him a small shrug. “This Sky…Walker man seems to hold a rather high standing on your planet. If you are a Star-Lord,” She emphasized the word to make sure she was saying it right this time. “it sounds like you have someone to try to surpass to be the best. A man who still has something to learn; it’s nice not to meet a know-it-all.” Taking a drink of the beer she gestured towards some of the Hetachi men at a table with her head. “Like some people I’ve met.”
