Particularly martial arts flicks. She always laud over the hero, no matter the gender. Mimicking their movements and reciting one-liners she favored the most. At that point, idolizing international stars such as Cynthia Rothrock and Michelle Yeoh, Srey decided she want to become an action star. In March of '99, she moves to San Francisco to live with her older sister, Minah, after their mother died. Later, Srey is enrolled into the English ESL programs to learn the language. She made friends who are avid parkours (the only traceuse among three traceurs), and learns to free-run at fourteen years old. At seventeen, she graduates from highschool and attend the University of California, Santa Cruz. She receives formal training in UC's gymnastics club, sponsored by Santa Cruz Sports Central. Finishing UC with an associate's degree in sociology, Srey goes on to realize her childhood dream. Joining the United Stuntsman Association - International Stunt School. The twenty-years-old Srey audition for many roles after leaving USA International. Exposed to all in the cinematic universe. Then, when piquing the interest of Welsh director Afan Bowne, Srey was called. Her big shot came and she body doubled as the character Lyd. The film was meritted for its stunning visuals and exhilarating battles. For Srey, a torrent of opportunities rolled in her way. In Ipoh, Malaysia, on the set of Like Pearls and Stones, Srey meets fight choreographer Shigeo Uchida for the first time. He adores her work and was eager to have Srey to weld with his team. They show great synergy, aquiring martial art skills during rehearsals, and eventually shifting on to their next and current film, Bull's Eye. [b]Abilities[/b]: Divided Mind; PEM (Psionic Energy Manipulation); Mentifery. Divided Mind - Multiple personalities that're sentient, housed within the mind. For every movie role she's portrayed, Srey unknowingly adopted their personality traits. Psionic Energy Manipulation - Energy produced by the mind that the user can wield. In Srey's case, her personas utilize this ability to subconsciously form their powers. Like her Lyd persona uses sonics as her special skill, or Sanisah's tulen magic. They're created from pure psionic energy and transformed into a different energy base (example: Jean Grey/Phoenix's psychic flames). Mentifery - Also known as Reality Warping, one's own thoughts or imagination becomes real. This ability is used to transform Srey's clothes to better suit the ego. Their weapons and even Sanisah's summonings were created from Srey's memories as an on-set stuntwoman. [b]Enhancements[/b]: Shinwasei bracelets [The History] Originally found near Mount Osore in Aomori Prefecture, Japan, lies a special grade of ore. An alloy that's as pale as snow in its raw form and have greater density (by 5%) than aluminum. It also contains the vim of nature, able to bond and awaken the hidden ability within a person. The Uchida clan, whose village is only a kilometer away from Mount Osore, discovered this metallic rarity. They revered the power of the ore and kept it alienated from neighboring villages. Also, the Uchidas have their local bladesmith, Shigeo Uchida, to secretly craft fine weapons and accessories with the white metal. With them, they became a reputable group known for their great strength. Never revealing the truth behind their power. Five-hundred years later, Shigeo enjoy his days in the twenty-first century. Ages ago, just before his thirty-fifth birthday, Shigeo created a necklace from the blanched metal. He puts it on and as time passes, he realizes his youth doesn't fade. The latent aptitude of regenative reflexes; the process of his cells continously renewing themselves. This allows him to not only stay young, but recover from all hazards. Shigeo had many jobs and careers before breaking into the cinema world as a fight choreographer. His work garner the attention of directors and many stunt men and women worldwide. Giving most stunters the big leap into the international circuit of stunt work. Though there's one is particular he grew quite fond of. Shigeo admired both her beauty and remarkable athletism. So he gives Srey a pair of bracelets constructed from the Uchida legacy. They're the catalyst that brings her latent talent to the surface. After doing stunt work for three films, the roles Srey portrayed became apart of her. Those personas manifested within her subconsciousness. They are all linked to a psionic pool where Srey can have access to them. Also, in the mindset of said ego, Srey's mentifery ability allows her to adopt and create specific personality skillsets. Making her imagination or thoughts a reality. [b]Personas[/b]: Ailis Gibbon; Lyd the Shrieker; Sanisah Swee (only one persona can be used per match) Ailis Gibbon - Interpol agent Ailis Gibbon is the protagonist of the movie Bull's Eye. Before she had any afflilations with interpol, Ailis was a world-class archer and kenpo practitioner as a teen. Though through the mysterious disappearance of her cousin, she became distraught. Suddenly having the impulse to become a detective. An obession. Possibly wanting to find out what happen to her beloved kin. [Abilities] - Peak human physicality; Hyperkinesia and eidetic memory [Tier III] - Through the use of the ACE (Artificial Cellular Enhancement) serum, Ailis' attributes rises substantially. Her marksmanship and reflexes soars to new heights, as well as her memory and athletic capabilities. She's also able to remember and process events at superhuman levels. Lyd the Shrieker - A headstrong orc from the Welsh film Frith Blaned (Gray Planet). She's a descendant of the Chlais clan, living in the southern region of the planet Fam Byd. [Abilities] - Sound energy; Superhuman hearing, smell, sight and strength [Tier IV] - Like many of her clansmen, Lyd has superhuman strength, hearing, sight and acute sense of smell. Though unlike her brethren, Lyd has the innate ability to produce sonic screams, hence the shrieker epithet. Her extraordinary lungs, throat and vocal cords are beyond human reckoning. Allowing Lyd to achieve various feats with her God-given talent. One of which she can channel sound energy into the runic patterns of Ukryć Szydło. It imbues the weapon with the dynamics of sonics; rooted in the major sub-field of classical mechanics. [hider=Sound-based Techniques] Shrieker Arts * Cloak of Lull - The orc creates a sonic field around her body, capable of making her movements inaudible. * Banshee's Garb - Contrary to Cloak of Lull, this sound-enveloping technique improves Lyd's unarmed combat. She's able to produce sonic blasts through punches and kicks. Sonic Hammer - Though the Banshee's Garb augmentation, Lyd is able to shatter what lies before her with a strike * Sonic Blessing - Lyd uses her sonic prowess to empower Ukryć Szydło through its runic markings. Giving the weapon the ability to eradicate objects (large or small) with vibrations or shockwaves through attacks. Vibrolunge - A simple thrust enhanced by the Sonic Blessing technique. Lyd is able to bore through most things with vibrational energy exuding from Ukryć Szydło's blade. * Bay of the Warrioress - A technique in which Lyd lets out a sonic scream from her diaphragm. Powerful enough to produce strong gusts of wind and damage anything frail. Including deafening one's hearing.[/hider] Sanisah Swee - A priestess well-versed in the arts of Tulen magic and combat in the Malay film Seperti Mutiara Dan Batu (Like Pearls and Stones). [Abilities] - Tulen magic and summonings [Tier V] - The concept of taoism plays a heavy role in the tulen arts. There are spells and techniques designed for indirect combat. Such as Sanisah's tulen-enchanted top and sampot, a black and white--garishly designed garment with tree and bird motifs. It enables such feats as repel or absorb some energy-based attacks (elemental forces). The rantai, a chain that's only used to seize the target, and block/deflect solid materials. The only tulen-doused implement used for both offense and defense is the kris; an asymmetrical dagger with a wavy body. *Fire and lightning can be absorbed by Yin. Water and wind can be repelled by Yang.* [hider=Tulen Spells] Barriers * Protector - A basic shield that ward off both magical and corporeal attacks. Though immense physical force can breach the tulen aegis. * Absorber - An unbreakable barrier that cushions all form of attacks. It disappears after one hit, and require multiple spell charges to nullify a combinational assault. *Example: Three spell charges will negate a 3-hit combo* * Jumper - Requires the target(s) to be marked with the warp seal. Afterwards, Sanisah cast a warp field upon herself. The marked opposition(s) have to engage her to activate the teleportation ability. Once it is triggered, the warp seal vanishes after the "jump". *The warp field only lasts for four posts* Way of Yin * Renewer - A spell that replenishes Sanisah's health with each hit she lands. * Taker - It gives the priestess the power to take one ability from her opponent in exchange of her own. The use of Taker depends on the number of spells and summonings she has in her repertoire. She can transform herself into liquid, obviously, and gas (mist). Rambut [Malady Maker] - A being that's seemingly composed of long hair. Not only it can stiffen its filaments like quills, use them as projectiles, Rambut can spew miasma from its mouth. A calamitious cloud that envenoms and dazes the target if the gas is inhaled. This raksasa also has the ability to alter its appearance through illusions. Making itself look like a person, object or blend with the environment. Perisai [Enshrined Guardian] - The purple koleossapien from the humanoid planet Hemipteron. He posesses great physical and mental strength, along with a robust body. Perisai is 5x stronger than an average dung beetle (which can lift objects 1,142 times its size), capable of carrying twelve, fully-loaded tour buses with ease. He also has an innate ward against earth-based arts. He can simply dig through any mineral with his razor-sharp claws. Perisai has the ability to split himself into two sheath men: one blue, one red. The azurine man-beetle inherits Perisai's incredible thews; highly tolerant to physical attacks. It's ruddy counterpart has outstanding psychic prowess; built to withstand magical and spirit-based attacks. Depending on the situation, either one or both coleoptera/human hybrids can merge with Sanisah. Their incredibly durable hulls becomes a suit of armor for the priestess. She also obtains their natural and unique abilities that heightens her attributes. The blue man-beetles gives her superhuman strength. The red man-beetle enhances her magical powers. Sutera [Lacework Master] - A spiderwoman who uses her webbing in multiple forms. Even making special silk compounds for certain situations. Water for example, Sutera has a hydrator that converts it into a solid. Or a coagulation fused with positive and negative ions to create an electrical discharge. Essentially "tasing" the victim in a bondage of webbing. Like Rambut, Sutera is incredibly quick and agile, as well as 3x stronger than an average human.[/hider] [b]Limitations[/b]: According to Srey, it's assumed that her powers are rooted within her bracelets. Though the truth is, with training, she can use her powers without them. But do to her inexperience, Srey needs the accessories to control her powers. As far as her personas, she can only switch to one of them per battle. They all share a single body and if damaged during any personage, the affliction will not fade as Srey. Every weapon and ability are not communal, but exclusive to said role.
